Post your most INTENSE game moment

Yep, wholeheartly agree with that Freespace 2 moment Reppyboyo, you'll calm openings to the missions but this was just :O

One the most intense was also from Operation Flashpoint single player, when you start in a forest and where your squad has died and your a lone soldier against 2 squads and 2 T-80 tanks and you have to GTFO.

After Montignac....

In Dark Age of Camelot, carrying an enemy relic unbuffed and solo across the enemy frontier after a relic raid had gone **** up.

I realise that this may likely be lost on most people but it was the most adrenalin pumping 15 minutes I've had in all my gaming years. :p

Awesome

A lot of mine have been mentioned already.

A few moments from FFVII - the final final final showdown with Sephiroth and Cloud one and one, and then, Omni-slash. Also, some of the recaps showing what happened to Cloud and Tifas home town and such.

MGS4 - both the final showdown on top of the sub, and the corridor crawl that lots of other people have mentioned - Kojima will never be able to out do this in my eyes.

Conflict Freespace 2 - when the huge allied ship and the enemy dreadnaught are slugging it out in the background while you're doing your bit.

actually as someone mentioned before, being on vent in a World of warcraft raid taking down your first Raid boss like Ragnarok was quite intense :p

DAoC Camlann free for all pvp server, as a druid. Getting an 8 man together and roaming the circuit looking for the bigger guilds and normally getting the upper hand after a few minutes of mayhem.

One great fight I remember had me as a druid, and my internet swedish mate as a healer who were both hammered, keeping our 8 man up against the highest rr team on the server right inside the hibernian portal gate (struggling to remember the name of the keep) with solo's continually pouring through the gates or sniping from the battlements while we went at each other.

As anyone who's played a healer in a pvp mmorg knows, you spend more time running and looking at healthbars than watching the fight, so whilst my very skilled guildmates went at the opposition I was on pure self preservation :)

The fight went on long enough for me to use instants with a 15 min re-use timer on them a second time, whenever anyone went down me or the healer would try and get everyone's attention while the other rezzed, likewise for the requiem crew. I was knackered by the end of it, and still drinking, but looking about and seeing way more than the original 8 req's lying around, plus loads of randoms, whilst very drunk, with some great internet mates was the highlight of my DAoC career :)

I think Resident Evil 1 has been the most intense game for me. Playing that as a 14 year old or something, made my heart race constantly, never knew what was round the corners!

No game has compared to that since, probably because I'm a lot older and not so scared zombies any more!

Plenty of great moments while playing games. Few deffently stick.

MOHAA Omaha beach landing was fantastic.

Both freespace had great moments, i like that you wern't the be all and end all in those games, but just one fighter in a epic war, big ships dukeing it out.

Half life when you first meet the marines remember thinking *thank god some help..... wait there shooting me....oh crud*.

Command and Conquer, watching the cut scene making you feel like your the commander.

Some battle in Medival Total war (the first one), being out numbered.

AVP1, marine levels were just awesome.

Argh there are so many.

When I saw the Topic title loads of gaming moments came rushing back.

MOHAA Omaha Beach Landing - Jesus that was amazingly intense with the sound ripping through my hifi.
FFVII - The death scene - pure omfg? nooooo :(
MW2 The Terminal (Undercover Russia) level, i had to take a break after!
I have played so many games with great moments, the MGS series was FULL of them.

But I did not consider wow, probably as i have been playing it constant for 5 years. There is nothing like beating a HARD boss that your guild has spent weeks and weeks of wiping on. The harder the boss the bigger the effort is has required = the greater the adrenalin rush. So many bosses in that game have given me the shakes. So for that reason my most Intense gaming moment has to be killing C'Thun for the 1st time in wow vanilla, damn that felt amazing!

Without a doubt a Goldeneye 64 tournament 2v2 final, Stack with grenade launchers, i was shaking! big relief when we won though.

Others that come to mind - Eve fleet combat and walking past windows in Resident Evil 2.

Dead Space.

Played it for 2 sessions and haven't put it on since. Scared the living **** out of me. But then again I did wait until everyone was out, lights off and sound right up and I have quite a system
:(

Best ever gaming seesion was easily the Fr4gz vs Fragmasters 20vs20 scrim. I didn't play on D2, but was watching it!!!!!

FYI FM rushed B with Fr4gz defending.

X-Wing but more so Tie-Fighter

Some levels in that were brilliant especially taking on star destroyers. Would really like an updated version for multiplayer.

Everquest 1999

Spending 28 hours camping an item, the npc finally spawns and another player kill steals it as I frantically try to kill it.

The stress I endured in mmos :)

I'm not sure if the Freespace 2 mention of Lion's Den is the mission I'm thinking of, but it's probably the same as the 'DIVE DIVE DIVE' moment - when your victory over the first (in the game, second in the series) Lucifer class Shivan cruiser turns a bit... sour. That and the stealth mission where you're tasked with scanning Shivan ships & supply dumps - I roundly cursed my itchy trigger finger nary a time on that level.
