Post your most INTENSE game moment

Multiplayer games aside, Resident Evil 2 on the PS had plenty of 'fill your pants' moments.

Most memorable for me is walking down a corridor in the police station (I think) and that flock of crows (or whatever they were) bursting in through the window.

Finishing R-Type 2 when you Burst out the top of the city tower thingy & the screen/game/monitor goes mental.

Being chased across the roofs by those Alien type beasty things in Half life 2.

Going Sniper on Kubra Damn vehicle server & crawling on my belly all the way to MEC main base, One time I could have touched an enemy tank with my hand, Was the most intense gaming experience ever & I do it regularly just for the Buzz.

Couldn't really pick out one, but some of them are;
Diablo 2: Trying to solo the cow level

Been overly simplistic in some bits to avoid spoilers, but you should know which bits I mean if you played the games.

those we're some hard ass cows, only way I ever managed to kill one was cheating and using a character editor to max out everything with high spec weapons

BF2 - All our bases take and I've managed to sneak through to one behind the enemy lines. Get to an unguarded flag and get it down to neutral when a tank comes in... I hide in the building, which consists of two entranceways and try and hide from the bullets ricocheing throught out most of it until eventually I managed to blindside him and sneak out one of the doors and plant a sachel charge or two on his tank and destroy him.

Probably only lasted about two minutes but it felt like eternity.

Close Combat - A bridge too far (ooold RTS game based on the the ww2 operation). Happened a few times where I get onto a map and face a 2-3 tanks with only two units that can destroy them. What follows is one big cat and mouse game of trying to draw in the tanks using my other units as bait, hiding them and moving them around trying to avoid the tanks fire. End up with 1-2 tanks down and only one PIAT unit left before I eventually manage to call a ceasefire instead of losing the map and the game! There have been a few intense moments on there, usually consisting of me losing a lot of men and almost running out of ammo, trying to weed out the last of the enemy with men who are about to crack and run. Epic game!

House of the Dead: Overkill. A few times and it's always intense where we try and get 100% hit rates and Goregasms throughout the levels. It is usually massively intense with one wrong shot or flinch destroying all the work you put in. :D

Sure i've had a few more, usually consisting of me sneaking around with not enough weapons and little life trying to destroy something that's raking me with fire. :o

2nded how can I forget BF2, so many times with one of my buddies Medic/AT combo sneaking past enemy lines and tensely dancing around a tank dieing and resing each other ad swapping kits constantly.

ARMA 2 ACE 2 does it for me tbh.

In MP laying down 1500M away from some other chap doing the same on other side of team.

Nothing better than aiming and taking the shot after waiting ages for that one shot kill very rewording when ya have just checked distance, wind speed and direction to get that shot just right hehe.

Hmm...difficult question to answer, been so many of them.

Would probably be a toss up between some epic races in Grand Prix Legends with other online players and maybe a time in Eve online when I got jumped in 0.0 by a roaming band of gankers. With the latter I managed to prevail after a real cat & mouse chase and PK'd most of them in the process. They weren't too pleased...fun times :D

It's always been more memorable beating other players when the odds are stacked against you, rather than beating some dumb AI in a single player game.

one comes to mind here was playing Homeworld : cataclysm online and these 2 players were attacking me and so I set corse rite for one of there Capital ships sent my fleet away from my Capital and when I reach point blank range Fired the BiG Cannon u could upgrade 2 its destroyed his Capital ship and heavly damged myn but I still had my fleet and so the odds were now even [ still lost in the end but it was fun ]

Every new boss that I raided with my old guild back in the days of pre-TBC WoW. Also I was really immature then and I got REALLY excited when I was accepted into the guild, which was the "top" guild on the server at the time. :D :o The top players were like heroes to me lol.

Actually, another from HL2, this time EP2, the closer you get to saving all the buildings and getting the achievement the more your brow furrows. The 1st end fight in any HL game that is worthy imo.

Pity I hated that end fight so much I only did it twice, not enjoyable at all for me

I had one last night actually, i bought Arma 2 a couple of days ago and went online with it last night. Jumped in a transport heli with about 15 other people and set off for the objective, It was cool to be sat there waiting for the drop off. However just before we got there the heli was hit and everyone bailed out.

We parachuted down and were met with a hail of bullets, it was a real adrenaline rush playing, trying to run to the wreckage of our heli for some cover.

Multiplayer, Nascar 2003, nothing like 5 laps to go sitting in the lead 5-6 car train.

One false move and everybody dies, the tension used to be quite unreal, more so than it ever was in counterstrike, bf2 or the like where confidence takes over.

Single player, Cannon fodder... those last levels were nasty. About 15 or so years since i was there with it on the 3do, but i think there was a timer on the last level... seem to remember completing it with 1-2 seconds to spare... after about 50 attempts:)
