We pay for 60/6. It looks like some of the upload speed has decided that it wants to be download speed instead.
Virgin don't even offer a 60/6 product do they?
It went to this
It Seems to be average around 30 and i am on an upto 40 connection

We got the free upgrade from 20 to 60 and were told that the upload speed should be 10% of the download speed. Do let me know if there is little truth to that statement, I suppose I should have known better than to trust a Virgin rep.
New Router has been delivered, I'll get that set up tonight - peacefull night as its just me, the cat and the dog.
Then hopefully should see some changes in the next few days to a better speed - though I don't expect anything till the fibre is activated

hadn't a clue what that was.....but google to the rescue!
but going by BT's website that can't be turned off for Infinity. ah well don't suppose a few ms here or there is going to matter

just upgrade to infinity 2, dl and ul have significantly improved but ping is still the same.....thought that would have improved?
If I test against Derry I get the same slow ping response. Against London servers it's down around 15ms.
You could just be suffering from BT's often very roundabout routing policies.

Virgin have blatantly lied to me - they said I'd get 152Mb/s

I bought infinity 2 package which is like 80MB/S+ I was told I'd only get 31-39 and around 6-8 upload So when they first installed my internet it was around 42 download and 8 upload and around 6-8 ping I was so happy however over the years it has begun to slow down any reason for this? I get like 32, 6 and like 15-20 ping now

Unlikely. As more people get added to the cabinet the speeds will tend to drop.
What does the BT Broadband Availability Checker tell you? How does your connection compare to the impacted figures?
Hey but when I first had the package installed I was getting 42 download, 8 upload 8 ping then it dropped for a week then returned back to the speeds it's clearly capable of these speeds.
