This is why I hate the camera obsession everyone has at the moment, it just worries them.....just insure your house and property and relax....

Except when you insure it wrong and you forget that tick box that nulls your warranty.
Not sure how a camera is going to fix that..... people rushing out of houses to confront anyone who looks dodgy is just going to end up with them being stabbed by some low life not a citizens arrest.....
Yeah, a large item, sure. If you're buying a fridge freezeer, you would probably try and arrange for when you're home. You talked about the customer being mad it wasn't left in a safe space. Surely no one receiving a fridge freezer says that?My argument was from the other perspective, because we know most couriers only deliver 9-5 on weekdays. So knowing that you use collection points, or if a very expensive and large item is being delivered you make arrangements like annual leave, or collect from depot.
- Why have you picked this driver to be suspicious of but you left 6 per week well alone with your precious garage gubbins til now?
Oh couriers. they can be a strange bunch at times. I worked as a delivery manager for Hermes during lockdown when my own business nosedived. Had to sack a courier for pooping in someone’s garden once complete with CCTV of the incident also had to try and pacify an angry customer after a courier lopped off the tip of his finger in their letterbox and bled all over their floor.
I’ve had parcels launched onto roofs I’ve had couriers taking knifes to parcels before delivering them out of vindictiveness and I once had to hand deliver a framed painting of Steven Gerrard that had been damaged in transit for security reasons as we couldn’t ensure it’s safety in a west of Scotland depot

Moment Amazon driver 'urinates at the bottom of customers' driveway'
Les Watson, 54, and Emma Marsden, 44, had been eagerly awaiting the delivery of their new hair trimmer when they noticed something a bit odd about their delivery van driver on their CCTV camera.www.dailymail.co.uk
An Amazon driver taking a cheeky toilet break outside her van was captured on CCTV by the homeowners she was delivering to.
Les Watson, 54, and Emma Marsden, 44, had been eagerly awaiting the delivery of their new hair trimmer.
Tracking the delivery, they were keeping an eye on the CTTV camera positioned outside their front door on February 28.
When the delivery driver arrived that evening, they noticed that she had fallen over and were worried that she was hurt.
But when they checked the footage again after the delivery, they discovered the truth - that she has been urinating at the bottom of their driveway.
Welly JuiceI've heard of Trucker's Lemonade before, but what do we call this new discovery?
Courier's Coke? Delivery Driver's Discharge?
OK so I ordered a bathroom cabinet from eBay and the courier was Yodel.
So you sit there watching him on your CCtv and not bother answering the door, very odd behaviour.
