Spot on Nexus, that's about 30-40% brightness. It's noticeable in games (Elite) and on any backgrounds with uniform colours. (Left bottom corner, the others are only noticeable when watching films with dark scenes.)
I was tempted to try applying pressure or adjusting it but being 2 days old and not very cheap...
I wonder why they don't distribute the pressure more evenly? Can't be difficult to spread the load across the bezel edges with some padding and many clips\screws?
I hate returning things for silly reasons! I could probably live with it after a while...
I would try fixing it yourself first and using a lint free cloth to clean/rub the screen whilst applying some pressure otherwise you are just going to be playing the panel lottery RMA game.
If it doesn't bother you then keep it and enjoy it.
I had to go through 2 LG 29um65 to get one free from back light bleed, the first 2 were just awful for the bottom left corner, dark content was unbearable (at the time alien isolation was out and the backlight bleed ruined the game completely)
The photo above looks pretty good. If you won't accept BLB then don't buy any IPS panel imho.
That is the problem though, IPS panels never use to be this bad, previous IPS panels from years ago were back light bleed free (obviously there were still bad units out there though but not to the same extent as now), you felt safe buying monitors, where as now, it seems like you have to play the panel lottery game with any new IPS monitor regardless of brand, even the new 27" 1440 IPS panels are plagued with bleed issues
And that is where we come into it, if the majority of people put up with bleed like the above then the manufacturers will see no point in spending more time and money in ensuring that quality is of a satisfactory level as they will think we are happy with the current quality.
I suppose I could live with the 3 other corners of minor bleed although not really ideal especially for a £800+ monitor imo.
IPS glow is IPS glow every IPS panel I've ever owned has had it, if you don't want it don't buy IPS. As for black flickering... never heard of it and I don't recall anyone mentioning it in this thread either.
Yes every IPS panel has it but it varies, this 3rd one of my 29um65 is significantly worse for the left side compared to the first 2 I had when it comes to IPS glow.
Flickering issues are a problem with the AMD version.

EDIT:
And that is what is frustrating, IPS glow could be more or less eliminated if monitor manufacturers started to use A-TW polarisers again.
It was me who posted those FPS scores - Grid 2 is actually Grid Autosport - the FPS I get in Grid 2 is around 75 FPS.
Also mentioned earlier - something wasn't quite right with Fallout 4 - I'm now getting around 65 FPS
Far Cry 4 averages about 55 FPS with everything maxed.
Ah nice!
With the next gen GPUs, you should be able to get more or less 75FPS locked then
