I thought the same. Contacted them twice on Friday and no one had any idea what was going on even after other retailers sent out info.
^ exactly, especially as we're paying over £800 for these things.
Come on OC's an update on this please, when will they be with us?
If there is no update soon I'm just gonna cancel my preorder and buy something else :/

The update is well there is no update, as previously stated stock landed in UK, but Acer re-called the stock to re-flash it.
For the last several weeks I have either being on vacation or overseas and at the moment our Acer contact window is also overseas. Once they are back they will provide an update but one would realistically expect them to take approx. 1-2 weeks to flash and get the stock back to us, which in theory should be sometime next week.

Still doesnt explain why your colleagues could not have let people know. Your competitors managed to send out emails advising of delays on time so their Acer contacts were available. Going on holiday is no excuse in business. If I did that where I work then questions would be asked why there was no adequate cover.
If you also refer back to this thread the information given was that landed stock for last Friday would have Firmware V2 on for pre-orders. This has not been the case. Slippages are to be expected but makes me wonder how late Acer left it to tell sellers. Also people who's money you have are quite within their rights to want to know up to date information on where there product is.
I know its probably a drop in the ocean for you but two people at work were going to order the X34 from you until they read this thread and now have ordered it from your competitor because they saw they kept their customers up to date. I actually stuck up for OCUK and said generally the customer service is pretty good but they were not best pleased with the comments in this thread.
