You can guarantee they won't be able to arrange Saturday delivery. They come in at any time on a Friday.
 
Fingers crossed the Freesync ones turn up today as Gibbo said they were due on Monday, then I should have it by Wednesday hopefully. :)
 
i keep getting the idea in my head to sell my sammy and get one of these but up till now i manage to keep talking myself out of it, the cost of buying and the loss of selling the sammy is keeping my upgradittis at bay

Indeed I just recieved my order shipped email.

For those worried about the Acer badge, I've seen images where it's been removed and replaced with PREDATOR :p.

Anyway, I'm very tempted for the gsync version of this monitor, hope the user reviews are positive.
 
The g-sync ultra wides are way to expensive. This has nothing to do with OCUK but goes for every single retailer out there but thats what you get for a still niche market and being an early adopter sadly.

from doing read of the threads I think there is some kind of flickering when waking up from sleep.

Looks like most of the US batch are good.

No reports of the banding.
No dead pixels
Hitting 100mhz no probs

Few have reported the following :-

"Coil Whine" over 80hz
Poor gsync at 100mhz or gsync conflicting with vsync
Bit of BLB
settings out of the box difficult to calibrate
 
i noticed the same weird backlight behaviour sometimes when coming out of sleep. a power off/on of the screen fixed it. sometimes it would just auto correct once you entered back in to windows (from sleep lock) as well. If it's a problem i'd suggest just turning the screen power off when you put your PC to sleep to save power and avoid this issue :)
