Power to Mick Lynch

Everything the Tories do is a political game.

Putting a woman up against Lynch wasn't some random choice or voluntary, it's designed to make the opponent look bad by being mean for daring to criticise clearly delusional opinions or outright lies. There is also glass cliff whereby women are used to absorb blame (and deflect it with accusations of misogyny for any critics) for doing poorly when the wider leadership is the one at fault and just don't want to take responsibility for it or in this case look embarrassed going up against a genuinely formidable opponent that they cannot argue against.
I must admit when they went to the guy on the far right and had him as Business person I thought oh here we go. I was pleasantly surprised until the very last bit.

Only those employed by the Post Office.

All your franchised ones (corner shops etc) will still be open so I'm unsure how much effect it will really have unfortunately.

Interesting to see how the media are covering it too, completely the opposite to those scumbag railway staff. Take note.

Barristers earn only £250 for a 13 hour day. Far more than I do but yet framed as being below minimum wage somehow.

15% is old news anyway, that was then now they want more apparently.

From what I'd read it was to do with the extra prep work they have to do before a court case, that pretty much goes unpaid - or effectively drops their rate below minimum wage.

This Gonna Be Good.

Doctors have thrown down the gauntlet to the government by calling for a pay rise of up to 30% over the next five years, in a move that increases the chances of strike action.

Delegates at the British Medical Association’s (BMA) annual conference voted to press ministers to agree to the increase to make up for real-terms cuts to their salaries over the last 14 years.

Some doctors who supported the motion cited striking rail workers as an inspiration for how groups of workers should pursue pay claims with Boris Johnson’s administration.
