They did clearly say that there were limited amounts.
No idea, certainly the 4 vendors on Microsoft's pre-order page have it listed at the launch price. Not quite true as there quite a few around at the introductory price!
Yes it is. If you look hard enough!
They did clearly say that there were limited amounts.
got to agree here, they shouldnt of said aug if you couldnt do it till then, sold out just burn a few more million copies of![]()
What are they going to do when FF becomes the majority browser? I have no doubt it eventually will...
The average consumer won't install Windows themselves, they'll by a pre-built PC from an OEM with a browser already installed. All this does is create confusion for the average computing consumer!
Apple don't have the 90% market share MS did with Windows, so I guess from the Commission's point of view what they do with OSX is irrelevant. Tying iPods users into using iTunes feels pretty anti-competitive though. But how come Apple doesn't get the same treatment? I'm personally glad my Mac's have had Safari and iTunes (Much better running on a mac btw) came pre installed!
Unlike Microsoft's bundling of IE with Windows, Intel's anti-competitive practices were pretty despicable. If true they deserve a good shafting.along with intel
So you're not planning on running Windows 7 on any kind of production machine then?
You're only going to run Win7 on test machines in a full test environment.
Because that is all your Technet licenses allow.
Don't care about what microsoft say - it only testing machines. But, likewise, I use it on all my production pc's and laptop's and got all fully license
The way you are running them is in breach of the technet license. I'm not saying I particularly care what you chose to do but I'm just stating fact.
Don't care about what microsoft say - it only testing machines. But, likewise, I use it on all my production pc's and laptop's and got all fully license with activated on all vista ultimate 32/64 for over a year as it never expiries and it still let me updated all windows updates online exspecially service pack 2 and genuine checked on all my pc and it all accepted success. Why should I pay for each license on per pc ? No thanks microsoft. I stick to technet plus direct as I get renewal discount every year. Can have 100's softwares and operating system of my choice from technet plus rather than spend my £1000's on microsoft softwares/operating system on single pc per license. Technet plus direct subscription mean it up to my choice, not microsoft. I never purchase anything from microsoft ever again in worldwide shops or online, no matter if it was cheaper deal.
I had installed all vista ultimate 32/64 with all difference brand new product keys from technet plus direct and installed on all my family pc's and laptop's for a year now, as they all happy and it free !!! Never buy again.![]()
True, but would microsoft care ? I don't think so, as I know many of my friends and million peoples use pirate windows version because no-ones not going to pay microsoft ever again exspecially rip off vista version last time. I don't think microsoft can't do anything about it because they want me to carry on as a subscription customer, not to lose me out.
