Pre-season Football 2011/2012 Season

I know at City majority of the seats go to season ticket holders. Theres very little left, I checked for the Swansea game and it was £38 for a seat in the roof. Don't think I've ever seen a seat for £25 at a prem game their.

?
I have always gotten tickets every time i ring up. Never in the top tiers always level 1 and 2 of Colin Bell Stand. Even the games v utd.

I think the £25 are early FA Cup etc.

I dont have a ticket for Swansea game but i do have tickets for Community Shield, Tottenham and Fulham.

I've only done it online and because of the loyality points restrictions by the time I get on its usually only crap left.

lol at Liverpool most expensive day out. I wish, theres a reason that Arsenal bring in basically the same 100mil match day income as Utd despite around 20k less seats.

Arsenal blow everyone else away in the "rip off their fans" stakes. You would think Liverpool would have a bit more variation in cost though, right up the back £10 less and right up the front £10 more.

Keeping hold of Aquilani looks an obvious thing to do

to be fair to the bloke i'm not aware that he's had any decent playing time at pool when he's been fit, and unless he's made it clear he would prefer a move to italy, i would have wanted to see what he could do with the money they spent on him.

still can't believe how much liverpool have forked out up to now, and they still don't have a decent left back and i would be worried with the centre halfs they have, cos i can't see agger lasting enough of the season to be useful :(.

Ah ok, just watching the Barca game and it wasn't mentioned in the upcoming fixtures for that either. Will definitely watch it, would like to see how Pogba can do :)

I think it was taken off as it's a "Utd XI", with those players above, plus some from other teams (rumoured to be Barthez, Ginola, Giuly, Trezeguet, Pokora and presumably some others).

Also looking forward to Van der Sar's testimonial tomorrow (worth mentioning as it's not in the OP), though it does bizarrely seem to be only an hour and a quarter long. Anyway, Ajax vs his dream team:

Van der Sar; van Bronckhorst, Neville, Ooijer, Ferdinand, Vidic, Cocu; Carrick, Giggs, van der Vaart (TBC), Zenden, Kuyt; Bergkamp, Del Piero (TBC), Rooney, Saha.

Not too shabby...

Everton v Werder Breman about to kick off in 5 minutes. A very weird line-up pretty negative and dull to be honest.

Thats going to be epic. Bergkamp and Del Piero. Damn.

When was the last time Bergkamp played any sort of football?
