Thats the worry with Bebe but I would like to see a little more of him.

In other news, I think I have a bit of a crush on Kagawa. He looks like just the type of player we needed.

I'd rather have Bebe has a squad player than someone like Park. Would be nice to see what Bebe can do with more opportunities, he might be cack but at least give it a go.

I think I have a crush on Kagawa too. :o His movements on and off the ball are great, it's a shame the players aren't on the same wavelength. I'm looking forward to see the link up play between Nani and Kagawa.

I can, we knew exactly what Park could do, he could be a **** winger or a **** central midfielder. He offered us nothing except a body last season (in fact our record with him in the team was atrocious) We know Bebe is a very raw talent at least giving him a season of fringe football we might be able to see if he could offer anything. Wikipedia said he's played 7 matches (not sure how many of those were subs) he really needs more before we dismiss him completely. It's unfortunate that he got injured on loan last year.

Okay so just for clarification are you saying you'd prefer Bebe over Park full stop or just Park of last season?

The difference is that Bebe could turn out to be good. Park was never good, only effective at running about a bit.

From that perspective you knew what you were getting from park, it was never going to improve. we dont even know what bebe can do for us, so he has potential to be better at least,

You can't be sure that Bebe is **** as you can't possibly have seen enough of him to say. He looked much better than he ever has in the game earlier. No one is saying that he will come good, just that we are starting to see why we bought him on a whim.

Hes gone from:

99% dud
1% chance of success

to

95% dud
5% chance of success

We might as well see what he's got in pre season. Fergie has given about 8 other reserve team players a game so why not eh.

I'd also like to see Bebe in the squad, getting a few games.

I know he was against a fairly mediocre side at best today, but he looked happy to cut inside, shoot, run down the flanks and cross.

Maybe, just maybe, he'll come good and he wasn't a dodgy signing after all.

:D

He is now a City fan he says! :p

Bebe didn't even get a chance in his first season. Look at how much Welbeck has been nurtured. Bebe needs to go on loan to another EPL squad and have a good full season starting games. He isn't going to become good playing in the carling cup.

He does look like he has talent.

Saying that, he needs to work on his crossing, a lot.

My gawd.

Judging on that video and if any scouts where at that game i don't think any Prem team is going to take him on loan never mind start him!

He doesn't seem like a winger. His passing is awful. He seems more like a poacher with his finishing. He also has a pretty decent shot on him.

He is 22 now, he needs to step his game up or he is gone.

He never had a proper bringing up and probably has never trained properly in football untill coming to UTD. Real Madrid at one point were watching him.

I remember that match. Like with all youtube videos, it actually makes him seem better than he was.

Burn!

To be fair, he looked god awful till today. Hes quick, powerful and has a beast of a right foot on him, it just remains to be seen if he can sort out the other parts of his game. I should think that he will get a decent pre season / cup run this year if he doesn't go to pot.

I wouldn't worry, he's still better than Downing. ;)

I just want to point out right now that when someone in a few months says the United fans were speaking of Bebe and potential in the same sentence I had nothing to do with it ;)
