Should be doing more than if cooling is ok, mine does 4175-4300 allcore with pbo, 4000-4150 without (noctua d15s).
yea I would have thought so as well...i have a 360 rad cooling this so thought i would easily get the 4.4 boost but nothing I try is helping, reseated the block today with fresh paste and made sure it was spread all over the cpu as I have read it needs to be a good covering across the whole of the ihs.

There is a bug I noticed in the current BIOS for my board. If you enable PBO and add +200, when you boot it up the CPU is stuck at 0.300MHz.

Turning this off solves the problem.

New BIOS out today tho so maybe fixed.

Well no problem at all. This is not directed at you, just letting people know who are hung up on the numbers.

I only play games all day, hence the Cheap X470 and 3600X.As far as the way I game and this covers 98% of all games
I game 3440x1440 and 4K and Ram speed does not make a real difference or boost clock. With Ryzen people do not need the highest number the chip can do.AMD overclocking is fine for gaming.
I also tested 4250Mhz-4500Mhz all core overclock and Memory 2133Mhz-4200Mhz and the results were the same in gaming all around with no notable difference perceived by me.

Boosting above 4.5 GHz (around 5.1GHz 9900k for comparison) , complaining it only consumes 69 W :D (if those readings are true, which I doubt) ;)

Oh I'm not complaining mucker! I just dont get it, must be some issue with how HW info reads the stuff. I did see an HWinfo beta when I booted the programme earlier. I'll try the beta I think

He is not boosting to 4500Mhz on multi in any cinebench,it can only be done on single.I say he is in the range 4250Mhz give or take a little .I am sure he just does not know how it works.

Did you actually go into BIOS and set manual limits past 69W,just asking.

In Ryzen I have them set to MAx and you can see from the Ryzen home screen they are at their max. I went into PBO and set the max limits manually (PPT, TDC, EDC) 142W 95A 140A and then it wouldnt boost to over 57W. SO reapplied the Ryzen maxes.

Should I go into the PBO menu and set them at 1000W 300A & 500A? Or will it go pop?
