Premier League Fixtures - 16/17th August (Spoilers)

Good start from Arsenal, I have the feeling it'd be about 3 - 0 if Fabregas was playing though, but that's not a complaint!

Eboue is playing .. awesome :|. He's reading the game well, putting himself in all the right positions and is calm and composed on the ball. Nasri looks awesome, can't wait to see what this season holds for him, his work ethic is fantastic. Also, Djourou is really impressive, I'm not sure if it's because it's only WBA but he looks good.

I was saying the same about Djourou during the match as well. Again don't know if it's because of the opposition but he looks much calmer on the ball than freak boy (Senderos). He's two years younger too. If Hotye can be sold at 23 then I still don't know why Senderos isn't. We need the magician who got us profit on Cygan a few years ago to wave his wand.

They're actually showing a few more games but that's not the point. The idea of stopping 1 provider from having all the rights was to make it fairer on the consumer but the majority of people who were subscribing to Sky for the EPL want to watch all the EPL games possible. By selling some of the rights to Setanta we now have to subscribe to them as well if we want to watch all the games possible. Had Sky had all the rights (or BBC, ITV etc got Setanta's games) then it would have cost less so for the majority of people 1 provider is better than 2.

Really annoys me the whole situation, I'd rather just pay a reasonable price for a package to get all the Liverpool games or on a per game basis. Currently if I want to watch all the televised games, it's £16 (Sky) + £18 (SkyS) + £12.99 (Setanta) £46.99! Not to mention the connection charges associated with both. I pretty much dont watch anything else that Sky has because they've been repeating the same crap since 1990 and will only watch the other games because they're on. There should be a limit on what Sky and Setanta can charge.

Oh yeah the half time commentators just mentioned about how good Clichy is, I'd just like to echo how good I think he is, he is the best left back in the world in my opinion. He is pure class.

WBA coming right back into it now, 2 shots off the line just now.

As I type, Adebayor through on goal and skimmed the post, a centimeter wide.

Good game, Arsenal need another to kill it off quickly.

Adebayor should have taken atleast 1 of his chances, dissapointing!

That sums up Arsenal of recent times really, play so much nice stuff and create so much but always struggle to score. Seems to happen more so against the smaller teams as obviously they come to Arsenal and shut up shop like WBA have done but its not as if Arsenal don't create the chances though. Its so frustrating to watch as you know the potentials there.

What was Eboue trying to do then?

Should have tried to header instead of throwing his leg in the air and looking like even more of a fool than he does.
