Premier League Fixtures - 22/23/24th August (Spoilers)

watched the game last night, was slightly bored, thought pompy started well then after about 5 mins the Man U machine kicked in, they kept the ball all night, though the chances they created were poor

IMO Man U not looking as strong as last year, hope they improve so we have a good title race this year between a few of the top teams

Just before I say this I'm going to get into my fireproof suit, and get my riot shield out..

But clearly going from their last season form and their games so far this season, they are a one-man team with Ronaldo.

There, flame away

I'd understand it had we not WON yesterday, despite missing:
Carrick, Hargreaves, Ronaldo, Saha, Giggs, Nani and Park to either injuries or suspensions.

That's SEVEN first team squad members, 4 of which are actual first team players on a consistent basis.

The week before against Newcastle we didn't have Tevez or Anderson either. Tevez has been our star player pre-season, and he and Anderson were easily the two best players on the pitch.

Are we as good without Ronaldo, no. But we are also not a one man team, at the moment we're a massively depleted squad.

.

AND Tevez kept on losing the ball last night (according to 5 live anyway)

Imagine what he will be like without jetlag (with a trip to and from Argentina in the last week or so out of his system)

And Anderson probably had a day to accimbatize to GB time after getting back from the Olypics

still need Berba though :D (as there isnt anyone else even moderately available or any good)

That word is banned here. :p Now never use it again.

:D Sorry Frank but that is an epic misspelling of that word. :p

I honestly thought (minus missing the "l" instead of the extra c) thats how it was spelt :o

****** americans are at fault for the whoe ise/ize thing anyway :D

Quoted for truth about the "s" word - spits to get the horrible taste out of my mouth

Is it looking likely Utd will land Berbatov? It was cheeky how he signed a Utd shirt last week :p

The way Levy is acting its unlikely (cheers heard from Nok)

Thought we played quite well last night. Didn't create much but we controlled the game and I thought Tevez and Anderson were immense last night. Those two made the difference completely for me between last week and this week, we kept the ball so much better. Now all we need is our wingers back to create some chances.

We would score so many more with someone in front of Tevez or Rooney though (and its not like we dont play enough games to keep everyone happy)

I mean how many are we due to play this season ( admittedly including a full FA Cup and CL run) - 60+?

Share out FA Cup and Carling Cup equally ( so everyone plays a few of both cup games)
