i cant get over how gory it is its worse than quake4 :eek:

Who couldnt belive that the 2 kids were getting slaughtered on there, that must be a first in games where you get to see kids killed not even gta had any of that.

Havent completed it yet. But so far, im looking and a likin. some nice touches, love the gravity, lol the concept, everthing is done v well, runs so smooth 1600 x 1200, 4aa, 16af. Love the bit when u see grandfather after he's died

To be honest I don't even like that. I'm not one for ultra gore just for the sake of it.

I can handle slaughtering monsters and the like, but when people are portrayed in a nonsensical gory way (especially children) I'll vote by keeping the wallet in my pocket. Its just not needed IMO.

This games to me feels quite abit like duke 3D did (but 3D realm's did make this right hehe) just the atmosphere of the game and the quirky coments the character makes and how you could fiddle with everything in the begining like tapes toilet seat and flush also light switchs etc.. etc...

I personaly like the demo as it brings in a lot more thinking to FPS games and weird situations like when you go thorugh a portal and get shrunk onto that sphere shaped item inside a glass case and then you see this huge enemy which then uses a portal to get in same place.

The only slight problem i found is i found my self slightly getting montion sickness but was'nt so bad as other games i've gotten it in.

Multiplayer is certainly interesting, but bloody hell it's hard going, trying to remember where to go in 360 degrees, it gets confusing.

Was hoping that when you freeze enemies with that special gun, you could shatter them.. but couldn't

I'll be buying this if/when I get paid in July.

I don't have a job at the moment, but I should be getting one in July, but as I'd be starting back there mid-July, they pay on the 20th of each month, and there's the chance I may miss that pay day and have to wait til 20th August.

I do always have savings / student loan to blow though
