Fantastic read. I got through it all meant to be doing a lot of work for tomorrow plus i'm moving house but it kept me interested. The main guy 10 pence gave a great account of his story. There was talk about him publishing it but that was in October so i've no idea if thats something which has been an on-going process or something that has stopped.

One of the best internet threads i've read.

One of the sensible posts. Stop judging him on the minute amount of detail you have and ask for his side of the story.
You could be banged up here for three months for copyright infringement and piracy. Doesn't tell you if you were at the centre of a ring or had just bought some pirated games and chipped your console. Not so black and white

From what i know avoid telling too many people you are in for fighting, that generally means ppl want to try it on with you.

You arent going to get raped!

If you have to fight make sure you give as good as you get though most of the time you will be left alone unless you go looking for it.

Get reading and be prepared for boredom.

Get in the gym and get your fitness levels up.

Avoid drugs as they will pee test you. Unless you like the more exotic drugs that go through quicker.

Someone mentioned juvenile prison, from what i understand its worse than mans prison. The kids feel they have something to prove to each other as opposed to the men who most likely know their place in the grand scheme of life

Which one do you think you will goto? I've got a friend in Belmarsh and he is finding it hard...he's not getting much trouble BUT he is a huge guy that can hold his own.
 
Never been to prison, tbh, but I reckon the worst thing you could probably do is walk in and immediately try to act Alpha.

Perhaps if you'd tell us exactly WHY you are now being charged with GBH we'd be more sympathetic and offer genuine advice.

As it stands, if you beat the crap out of someone who didn't deserve it for an extremely tenuous reason (as tends to be the norm these days), then you're scum in my eyes and deserve all you get.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, or more to the point, just don't do the crime! Contribute to making the world a better place rather than beating the crap out of someone.
 
My mate has just been done for gbh 2nd time round ,the guy he hit has now got a metal plate where his cheek bone use to be, he never went down so you may be okay .
My other mate is a prison warden (open) he says its really soft now and they all have tv's and play-stations .
Although some prisons lock you up for 23 hours .
Maybe worth taking some anal-lube :D
