Private plates?

Not really bothered either way when it comes to private plates, some look good and some look naff (the ones that are wrongly spaced or in a stylised font).

Purely by chance my car reg starts WL which suits me fine given that they are my initials! For a second hand car it was a pleasant coincidence.

Saying that I have looked at what is available and I could have W111 FST....be a bit crap if I changed the car though.

And all done in the same time as it took to write that totally pointless post ;)

I mean come on, it hardly takes a genius to work out BIG KEV isn't a proper reg.
Yeh but who cares if his story is true or not? Maybe it was X816 K3V spaced really illegally with screw heads and such. Maybe he is making it all up. Who really cares?

Sorry I'm in a bad mood tonight :D

I like the ones that are to do with the model of car, for example I've seen a few Honda S2000's for sale with plates like 'S2000 UV'. I think it looks good :)

I have an S2000 plate I only paid £250 quid including the transfer fee. Some owners space it illegally so it's S2000 XX but the Police are clamping down on this.

i'm not bloody making it up! haha. maybe it was BIG NIK or some other BIG derivative... am i actually going to have to track this small penised gentleman down and photograph his sausage wagon with a loaf of hovis?

I'd never buy one, it's a catastrophic waste of money and I'm tight. However, my car came with an ITR-related one so I don't mind them. :p

I don't really go for private plates as a rule, I do see a lot of crap ones about but I can always appreciate the good ones.

Dammit :(

The facelift EP3 is ugly IMO. I'd be worried people not in the know would read that plate oddly mind you.

Again with the Irish! What's wrong with Irish plates?? My car was first registered in NI and so had a Z plate.. Does this make my car lose?

No not at all, what i just think looks tacky is when someone wants to de-date a car and buys a cheap irish plate to do it.

If you are going to spend £150 plus transfer, you might as well spend £350 plus transfer and get something cheap but half decent looking.
