Pro Cycling Discussion 2016

Cancellera to attack on the Poggio descent, to be chased down by Nibali going Banzai.

Chasers Matthews, Sagan, Van Avermaret, lack of co-operation between them as Sagan will be ****ed about being beaten recently.

Cancellera to start sprint early and beat Nibbles for the win, Matthews to get third.

I can actually entirely back this and would be happy with this 100%
Cancellara I want to win as it's his last season, would be fairytale shiz.
If not, I want GvA to win, and Sagan to be 2nd, or even 3rd to keep with tradition.
If we don't see a Nibali lunatic attack WAY too far out to ever work, or him descend the Poggio like an absolute headcase, I will be sad.

I can't wait for the last 30mins, the rest of it is pointless :p

I'll go for an alternative then:
Big group into the finish, bunch sprint, Cavendish wins, Kristoff 2nd.

Ooooh, that's a bold one.
Kristoff going too soon as per standard and from a showdown of Bouhanni, Viviani and Cav.... Bouhanni will be too busy fighting 27 kittens and ****ing everyone off to factor and Cav is quicker than Vivi.

Kwiat is probably one of the best descenders in the peloton as well, would love to see a group of him, Sagan, GvA, Nibali, Boasan Hagan, Galopin etc all trying to smash it over top of the Poggio!

I also missed out Stybar from my list, but Etixx have been a bit hit and miss with their tactics. I can't see them going all out here just yet but will be in the top ten for sure!

Dare I say it, Cavendish no chance, dropped on one of the two climbs at the end.

He will take a standard huff at the bottom of the Poggio and come over the line in 143rd.

Stybar, can't see it. Ettix seem incapable of making anything work last/this season. Cancellara smashed him up the climb and to the finish at Strade and that terrain was Stybar's bread and butter.

Nibali is now interviewing saying he wants Sagan, GvA and Cancellara to bounce with him on the Poggio. Cipressa too far out, so he's ruled out a kamakaze attack too far out, which sucks. But a super group attack of the above with Kwiat, Stybar, EBH in the mix and descending the Poggio..... PLEASE!

Code for he'll attack over the Cipressa....

I have put my money on Cancellara at 10/1 and e/w on Kwiatkowski at 40/1. I won money on Degs last year. Cancellara looks really on good form and he plans his program so well that I think he is hard to ignore. He has already shown his form is good and even if the weather is rough you know he has the guts to be up there. Kwiatkowski is an outsider but I think he might have ridden himself a bit fitter at Tirreno and the finale suits him.Depends if Sky are riding for Swift or Viviani ahead of him but surely they signed Kwiat for these Classics.

That was awesome!!

Windows 10 is an absolute ****, tried to reboot itself for updates with 500m to go and my audio died just as the Ettix fella went down. Such a nervy and exciting finish as always, Kwiat down the Poggio was insane.

Interesting finish - Did anyone notice Sagan's ridiculous handling to avoid the big crash?

Great result for Swift again, would love to see him pull of a win in a race like this some day
