Pro Cycling Discussion Thread 2015

You see that with Nibali then? Woah!

My heart stopped! That could have been bad.

Theres gonna be a crash there.. How do they not have someone alerting the riders to the danger of that bend there.

Nibali going a little against the etiquette there and attacking while Froome is stopped with a mechanical can bet Froome would be crucified for doing that but nothing much will be made of Nibali doing it!

Yeah, looked at him, seen he dropped the chain and then attacked. Pretty poor. could have course say he is taking advantage of a situation and that's sport but in cycling there is a stiff etiquette and I reckon riders will give him stick for it. Like attacking when people are feeding and stuff, it's just frowned upon and not liked by the peloton so Nibali will get stick for it.

Somebody is surely going to bail on these bends, so much people being caught out today all over these bends. Hopefully Nibali bails and gets attacked huh :p

Very poor showing, but typical of the French. Always been bad losers, still quite surprised they let the Germans race in le Tour.

So it's gonna be all go for Alpe de Huez tomorrow by the look of things. Quintana is going to have to go all out.

Sounds like Sky are getting a bit shakey, hope they can hold it together as the rest of the teams haven't show the class they have. I expected more from Movistar and Tinkoff to be honest.

Gutted for Thomas to lose so much and drop out of the top 10 after the Tour he's had :(

Still think Valverde has more to give but kudos to Nibali.

Thomas isn't capable of winning a Grand Tour IMO. Not a good enough TTer or climber and a bit late to develop either skill...

Really think he has more future in the Classics so hopefully he doesn't fall foul of the Sky obsession with the Tour.
