I listened to a podcast and they said the final version is a million times better than the demo version.

Leipzig build had different teams and from videos played hell of a lot quicker then this. (more PES 08 arcade speed)
Im sure its more newer build then that because game reviewers played a more final build then one at Leipzig and commented on how much slower it was compared.

WENB ? in that case they commented on Leipzig build not new demo they also played full game and said how much slower it was couldnt beleive eyes when saw Leipzig build.

If this is the final build tempo, then it's still to arcady for my liking.

Oh ye. About what you said, bingham67 about your PS3 pad not working with your pc? Have you got a USB converter too? My pad only works on one player. With 2 player as the 2nd controller/2nd player it acts up and the menu selection constantly moves up and down like someones pressing on a certain direction. Tried fiddling with it in the menus on this game and on pes2008 but no luck. Stuck using a nock off ps2 usb pad for the pc

You mean PS2 pad USB converter if so nope heard about it though not bothered to buy one.
Was hoping get PS3 controller to work hope there a way somehow 1 player would do not interested 2 player for PC.

change the OEM name to Logitech RumblePad 2 USB
in regedit look in this directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM
go to the folder where it has your ps2 pad (usually the 2nd from bottom) name and click on OEM on the right after you click on the folder change it to
Logitech RumblePad 2 it's an old trick I used to use with my ps2 pad

**edit, love the legends feature and online video it shows.. shame the game looks pretty rubbish as far as i can see and the gameplay feels WIERD, its not very comfortable playing experience, seems a bit jerky and unresponsive, should mean they dont have the lag issues no doubt..
I dont understand it, i must be missing something, surely a game cant be this bad?

Overall impressions are same as above poster it has the same daft animations as 08 and feels like 08 only new things I can see are the crowd and slightly better graphics the players still have blank faces on wide cam.
You can tell all they have done is taken pes08 and worked on it, in fact I bet this is what pes08 would have been like had they stayed on it longer.
Better than 08 but lets wait to see the full game and what the servers are like and whether they are in japan.
I am pretty sure they just care about sales really and couldn't care less if the online is unplayable on pc.

I have just finished downloading the demo and about to install.
My only hopes for the full game are a slower paced game than 2008 and a deecent online offering.
Is that asking too much.. I have pre-ordered anyway.

Hmm doesn't seem to fix my problem. I've got the pad in the controller 2 slot in the USB thing and then under Controller 2 in the PES settings I have it set to Logitech 2 -2 (2nd in the list)

Fifa looks better I feel but fifa is still too easy. I barely have to try in order to score with that. Plus my logic3 pad doesnt work with it.
Definately not pre ordering either until I hear more about the full releases on here.
Legends looks like a good idea, although the PRoEv looked like something out of pokimon with all those signs poping up. I think fifa have done it a little more classy.

Just played my first game (I beat 'pool 2-1 on easy, I'm so proud!) and I liked it, legends looks pretty dam cool, hopefully online will be better and I'm sold, much better than fifa 09!
