Pro Evo 09 Demo released 2nd October

Did the PC Version of 2008 have problems with stuttering replays? If so, are they smoother in this version?
 
Ye it did. Probably not on the top end graphics cards. They are completely gone now though. You might get a slight slowdown depending on what card you have but should be fine
 
nice to see the goalkeepers from 08 are still intact. :rolleyes:

i just made the limpest shot at goal and it literally rolled over the line as the opposition keeper let it go under him. :p
 
medley I've got the exact same problem as you mate. However, my players keep passing the ball to the left when the game starts. Also in the settings, the right analogue has yellow arrows pointing to the left and upwards.

mine works fine. it's just they've changed some of the controls in the menu to use the triggers instead.

edit: just noticed you're askingabout pro evo 6... :p you need to setup the controls manually using the settings application - outside the game itself.

looks like theres plenty of people out there also having missing resolution problems, luckily someones released a fix.
Joke that that problem is still present. Not a good sign.

has any one got this installed on xp pro 64 bit ?
I get a error sayiing the system adminstator set polcies to pervent this installation. I have tried running as admin

I had all resolutions available on my demo. Maybe its an older demo drifting around?

What GFX card are you playing with?
Like Bloodline said, I had a list of every resolution imaginable in my demo settings file.

As far as the game is concerned. Its OK, but then again I must be one of the only people to think 2008 was good. I just wish they had sorted the keeps out, plus the ref seems abit to red card happy.
 
8800GTS 320. Ay I know a lot of people have all them unlocked, but theres obviously a reason that theres a lot of fixes etc kicking around :) Game doesnt even have a 5:4 ratio setting thought does it.

I warmed to 2008, there was obvious AI niggles, poor keepers etc though yes.
Refs wernt v realistic, and it could definately do with a bit of pitch variation and weather conditions.
But this game just feels wrong, the movement isnt fluid, its too fast(arcadey but not responsive enough), graphics are still not up to par really, concidering its set to high.
Collisions are a nightmare really.

I would have settled for an 08 with improved keepers and some weather/pitch conditions, updated rosters and then the legends thing bolted on, with fixed online etc.
Oh and it would be wonderful if theyd make master league a little less ****, I never got why they couldnt just absorb some little studio that could make a football management sim, even if it was basica as the old(im talking 10yrs ago) football managers(or whatever the champ manager clones were called)
 
Are the referees the same on every match? They took out the option to choose your own ref in 2008 when it was in the previous games (what is the point seriously?). I hope they put the option back in the full game cause me and my mate are a bit dirty when it comes to tackles
 
I'm glad that they have optimized the engine well.

Plays like an absolute dream on my x2 3800+, x1950 Pro, 2GB DDR at 1650x1050. Pro Evo 2008 suffered from major stuttering and generaly was a badly optimized engine, only slightly helped by the patches that followed.

This game is an absolute winner for me. I'm sold an ive played only two matches already. Much better than '08!

Just tried that. Still doesn't work :mad:

Do you have the pad in the USB controller 1 or 2 slot? I've got mine in controller 2 and then I've selected the 2nd one down in the pull down menu

I can't even get past the first menu as the selected button just scrolls down to the exit button and everytime i move it up it automatically moves back down to the exit button
