PRO EVO 2008 demo market place

Fifa - Sim
Pro Evo - Arcade game.

I think pro is definitely more close to real life, in the sense that you can have quick passing one-two movements and when scoring a goal it feels rewarding.

I don't know, it's a matter of opinion but I still think FIFA was far too slow to play and it wasn't enjoyable. When the CPU was in possesion of the ball I was bored because it didn't really feel like they were attacking me.

Having said that, FIFA 08 looks good and when I get the time I will play it some more and try to like it because it has improved greatly from last year and the years beforehand.

I may pick up both this year, I know I will definitely pick up Pro Evo as I like the feedback the demo is getting. Being faster is more enjoyable for me and all the little subtle touches will be nice. I really think the 5on5 online in FIFA could be great :)

I still play PES6 to this day for the 360 even though it's been the worst one since it started, it's crazy :D

You probably could, but you would be lying again

So no apology for your blatant lies? real man

What lies? I proved you wrong. Robinho could not run 60 metres in under 8 seconds with a ball at his feet. The time takes in FIFA is far more realistic, but then again, it is a sim, while pro evo is an arcade game.

I await you're apology.

Pro evo is definently the more fun of the two, i think longterm, FIFA may be more rewarding. I like the fact they are two completely different games, there would be little point having two games play exactly the same.

What lies?.

Short term memory loss?

You can run from one end of the pitch to the other in pro evo in about 8 or 9 seconds, which even a world record holder could not do.

What have I made up? Try it yourself and see, I have actually ran the length of the pitch on both games, its not hard to do.
.

I have done it, but you obviously havent, your making yourself look quite the fool here Mr Men, quite the fool indeed.

So your now saying you have not ran the length of the pitch in 8 seconds, so therefore you have obviously been lying about having done so.

I never said I did it in 8 seconds, I said it was done in about 8 or 9 seconds, it might have been 12 or 13, i didnt have a stopwatch.

It is less accurate than FIFA with regard to player speed, which isnt a problem, its an arcade game, not a simulation after all.

You say i know nothing, i know a few things, i know your an ostrich fanboy troll, and dosent know when to admit he's wrong. :p:p:p

There is no way Robhino could run 60 metres in less than 8 seconds with a ball at his feet, which shows you are the one who does not know what he is talking about.

LOL no would be over 16 seconds, assuming the pitch is split down the middle LOL funny. And you never said you did it? strange your quotes would suggest you did, more lies.

And yes Robinho can run that in 8 seconds, easy, so again your obviously talking about something you have no idea about, what a laugh, you should really give up. It's better to remain silent and be thought of as stupid, than open you're mouth and remove all doubt.

You are in the wrong here, and anyone who watches football will know it.

To run the length of the pitch on Pro Evo 2007 with the Brazilian full back takes 14 seconds, 120m in 14 seconds is pretty impressive.

To run the length of the pitch with the Barcelona full back in fifa 2008 - takes 19 seconds.

Far more realistic, wouldnt you agree?

Im guessing from your l337speak and way with words, your a teenager, correct? Ive been watching football longer than you have been living, you could learn something if you opened your narrow mind.

Im not the only one who has mentioned it, yet you are the one continually trolling. Time to let it go, my point has been made, now when you say you will do something, stick with it, then you get a bit of respect, you said you were putting me on ignore, (i dont necessarily agree that if you feel you cant argue a point you stick your head in the sand, but hey, if it works for you, thats fine), so i dont expect to hear from your again tonight.

I must say i find it amusing that people here are calling FIFA a sim. Just because a FIFA-orientated blog/website spouts endless nonsense about how many thousands of decisions each player/AI makes per frame of animation or how much has gone in to the coding behind the shooting in the game doesn't make it good. Hilarious, and apparantly it's quite the opposite; slow, meandering players. Poor ball physics (watching the ball juddering over from a cross isn't my idea of decent physics). I will say though that warmup bit with Ronaldinho had me going for a minute. To think this was a real contender to PES's throne was a silly mistake.

I genuinely can't believe people think FIFA plays a better game of footy than PES, i really can't.

The only advantages FIFA seems to have are:

better skin textures.
slower pace.
player models up close on those all-important pre-match animations are better.

All very important i'm sure you'll agree. At least that slower pace means it'll take you longer to get up the pitch. ;)

Keep your FIFA, i know what i'll be playing in a few weeks.

And just to add; i experienced no slowdown, no tearing or anything else like that when playing the PES demo. Running 720 if that's any use.

No, just proves Fifa is too slow, you ain't the brightest bulb in the box are you?

Bye bye liar, it takes 18 seconds with the Brazilian full back, you should stop the lies and stop making a complete fool out of yourself.

If you had watched football then you would know Robinho can run 60m easy in 8 seconds, a point which you seem to have dropped now, wonder why.....I will ignore you now though as it's pointless debating something with someone who clearly lies and also has no real idea what they are talking about.

Sorry i disagree about no rewards you can score crackers in Fifa 08 just check youtube for some of build up on goal and shooting its more challenging then PES.

Finally managed to capture the pause on a video within the first 5 seconds or so, that way the upload and download of the file wont take forever. Just uploading it now :)

I'm thinking it's your xbox/setup rather than the game. I've played about 6 matches today and not one moment of slowdown or any pauses. Very odd.

As i've said mate I have two xbox's both on different screens. I've also swapped them over.

Others in this thread have it too. Its also been said that on other forums there are lots of people mentioning it.

Its also caught the pixel lines on the grass as the ball moves about. I think though once thats uploaded it wont be visible.

Here it is, let me know if the link works. Its only 9 meg, watch the ball as it goes to the brazillian....
