PRO EVO 2008 demo market place

Neither PES08 or Fifa08 is perfect and both have similar flaws - both demos can still feel scripted / on rails at times, even with ' super cancel '.

Fifa08 feels a little slow, but then again PES08 is a little too fast /arcadey.

I'd be tempted to say that Fifa08 plays a more realistic game than PES08 going by the demos.
 
Unless you got the demo early, its taking ages for everyone. Fits and starts.

I think the main thing the two demo's have shown is we have now two good football games, the issue will probably be as devisive as ever, a clear sim and a clear arcade game. Both are must buys in my eyes.

I've got the same issue as you with the pausing, it seems to happen with certain animations such as when slide-tackling a palyer and causing a foul, the pausing is guaranteed when this happens.

Maybe it could be a problem with older 360's maybe?

For what its worth mines a launch day console and running at 720.

For those that are also getting the slow down maybe you could also state at what times the pausing happens and we could see whether theres a link or something?
 
I'm not having it at any specific time. Sometimes it pauses with the keeper sometime mid way through a pass or tackle by me or the AI. Its completely random, i'm hoping it's an Issue with the game being saved to the Hard drive rather than 360 related.

Both my 360's are miles apart in build date too.

Fifa is way too slow, not only in player movement, but the ball speed, seriously have you watched any football in the last few years? Fifa is like football in the 50's slow and no pace, Pro Evo has it pretty much spot on, using the pacey players opens the game up, Fifa just feels stuck in mud no matter who you have running and the speed of the passing is just laughable.

Fifa is realistic in terms of ball speed and moving about the pitch. Pro Evolution is speeded up and arcadey in comparison.

You obviously havent watched much football if you think Pro Evo has it spot on, a football pitch is between 90-120m in length, the pitches that are in pro evo would be on the larger side of this, so lets say 110m. You can run from one end of the pitch to the other in pro evo in about 8 or 9 seconds, which even a world record holder could not do.

Pro Evo - Arcade football game, Fifa 2008 - Football simulation. Two different games offering different types of games, I can see why one appeals more than the other, it depends what people want.

If you say so troll, you obviously have not ran from one end of the pitch to the other in Pro Evo or you would not make such a silly comment for everyone to see and laugh at

They have to make up for the 1 billion dollars the consoles already cost them and they actually want to make a profit this generation.

I'm not rebuying live until there are faster servers for downloading and dedicated servers for gaming. Once PSN has in game XMB its basically the same as live.

This probably won't download till tommorow :S

Your the one making things up to try and justify your stance, now why would someone do that? Obviously to either cause an argument or just to troll and seek a reaction.

If your not a troll then why are you making up things about the game? Pretty sad but just shows how desperate you are to put Pro Evo down, and off course makes your opinion seem just that little bit weak. Now if you really have nothing to add to the thread other than fanboyish lies then just do something else instead.
