i'm in, can we use teams other people have chosen or not? Only fair considering I play as one already said primarily. If not I'll play as manchester united.

Wouldnt mind seeing the "elite" teams banned too, they do this on the dvdforums league

Yes, I have used Brazil since ISS Pro 98. What's more wrong with me being so used to using Brazil as opposed to someone else being used to Man U, Inter, Barca etc. Brazil haven't always been the best team in the game, and depending on your style of play it's arguable if they even are now. Of course they have always been there or thereabouts, they're Brazil! Just so you know, the reason I picked them for ISS Pro 98 was for one simple reason - Ronaldo. He was way faster than anyone else on that version, and in the earlier versions that was pretty much all you needed.Burned_Alive said:

What credibility should I be seeking? I wouldn't chose brazil, they dont suit me, everytime I play as brazil I struggle. The defense is all over the place. Arsenal are a weakish team, yet I have my best results playing with them.
Its not about picking the best team, its about picking the team and formation that suits your style of play. I can defend well enough, suck up the pressure and hit on a fast counter. So Brazil aren't the team for me.
Yeah people lean on adriano, but only the poor and desperate. We have all been hit with one of his wonder goals, but he aint that fast so marking him aint really an issue. Ronaldo is even easier to take out.
Using the better team or not I've probably only scored a handfull of chances outside the box. I've not conceded many outside either. You feel free to keep on trying that with the better clubs.

One of the main problems people have with Brazil and Inter is Adriano, people simply give it straight to him and shoot anywhere in the opposition half. I dont get why you cant use any team you like, same arguement as using the AWM in CS - people whine about it; at end of the day its part of the game.

I dont struggle at all against decent teams, and regularly turn people over who use brazil and inter, i havent ever used a team other than Liverpool.
If it was all about formation, you wouldnt need to use brazil, but you like pace right? Reads to me as: i like to boot the ball up field and use my fastest player to outpace them then score an easy goal

I think I would agree with you. The only reason he even stays in the team is because he does have a decent shot, that's not to say I overuse it, I use it when the situation arises rather than forcing it as many people do.dannyjo22 said:

But adriano isn't pacey. Ronaldo is but he can only last 45 minutes, mark him tightly and he lasts less. Brazils fastest player is Cicinho 89, followed by robhino,kaka,ronaldo, carlos. Fast players but all heavily flawed in other areas. There are loads of teams faster all over the pitch than brazil. There are also players more skilled with the ball at their feet. Gudjohnsen has some of the best all round marksmen stats in the game, yet people play as barca and leave him on the bench.
I know its boring playing the same teams in ranked brazil v inter etc but they all have big flaws.
