Pro Evo pause cheat.

i mean like.. does it go up on a leader board how many wins you have or do you just win a match and then thats it? because if it gave you gamer points or put you up on a leaderboard i would leave my xbox on but if it was just you win, then you know youve one, i woulda just turned it off and played another game..

I'm sick of this game, twice tonight someones done it, and I havent got the patience nor the money to waste on electricity leaving it on, so i'm ruining my record by just getting disconnects to my name
 
Ok here we are again.

Was challenged to a game by some random and notice he is in div 3C same as me so we had a game. Now he is plainly using another tag other than his main one because he scores every shot he takes in the half and some of them were spectacular efforts. Now one minute into the second half he hangs the game and since then has been sending loads of text and voice messages containing a fair whack of abuse as well as telling me his Xbox is staying on all night.

Good job my pc is beside the 360 and with Fm2007 patch out today and my box set of season 2 of Las Vegas to watch I am set for the night.

So stand off begins at 9.47pm, could be in this one for the long haul. :D
 
sounds like all they need to do is impose a minimum pause length.

cheater pauses
if they're there for say, more than 10 minutes...they get unhooked

simple.

for the record, i know we're different people, but i can't see the mentality in staying online for 4 hours just so you don't lose 1 game! imagine the other games you could've played whilst playing stalemate with that guy. i can appreciate you didn't want a null vote for no reason, but at the end of the day, it's just a game.

If I really wanted to play another guy I would just disconnect and play but as I have already played about twenty games on-line the last few hours it is time to stop anyway. As I said with the patch out and my box set arriving today I am happy to leave the 360 running and wander off to other things before heading to bed.

edit: why he decided to hang the game I have no idea because he was totally humiliating me. :o
 
Ive got one on the hook just now, i went 4-1 up, and he requests to make a substitution, kicks the ball out, and is now claiming he isnt cheating, im screaming at him down the headset, well turn off your xbox you cheating german scumbag, he's saying back "im not a cheating german scumbag, i no understand how this freeze". He's played over 300 matches and claims its never happened before.

Bloody germans, they cheat at real football and they cheat at pretend football, i could almost understand it if he was a gamerscorewhore, but he's only got the 200 he got from pro evo.

I'm suprised there isn't a maximum time limit that you can pause the game for, the PC version has a limit of about a minute or something. :confused:

there is a limit, but this goes waay beyond that.
