Pro Evo pause cheat.

Anyone else had serious problems with lag online on this game? Just now I lost two games against the same guy because of lag, the first time because the game lagged which caused me to miss time my tackle and get sent off in the 2nd minute, the second time becase the game lagged just as the other guy was on the shoulder of my last defender and he managed to get a few yards on me which resulted in a goal.

Im sure these people cause the game to lag delibrately to gain an advantage :D

Yea I had that problem, was playing some guy with terrible lag, he was useless so I went 2 - 0 up, then it starts to lag frame by frame, making it impossible for me to shoot (couldn't actually get the bar) and the game took about 40 minutes to finish, for a 10 minute game. Still won 2 - 1. :D
 
Well, i dont know if he paused it, but i just got a DC because the game seemed to just hang with all the noise of crowd etc still going but nothing happening after a replay... :(
 
I had a pauser last night. Last match before I went to bed around 2am. He was english (well, from Liverpool so just about english ;) ) so I thought "right, i'm off to bed, so I went and cleaned my teeth and he'd quit by the time I'd come back the big wuss!!

I was all set to leave it on all night as well.
 
Well if you want an easy win and you get me in a ranked game lock up instantly. I will quit you will get the win. I can't be arsed to ruin what gaming time I get waiting around.
 
I get this allot on street fighter turbo on the 360 because I am a very high world rank sometimes when I play a ranked match you get very low ranked players deliberately not choosing a character in the character selection screen hoping I will disconnect and give them the win !! (Not likely)



They could easily stop this type of cheating by having a countdown for say 20 sec when choosing a fighter like the arcade does :mad:



I like the poster am very stubborn and will wait as long as it takes them to leave there is no way I am giving up my hard earned rank to a noob cheater I would literally drop hundreds of ranks this just ant happening unless they beat me fair and square



The longest I waited was about 17 hours overnight it was really funny because after leaving my 360 running all night I woke in the morning to a barrage of abusive voice mails and text messages from some nerdy yank lol



Still I won out
 
Surely Microsoft and the Software houses know this happens, they should implement some fixes to stop all this happening.
 
all this talk about people waiting hours for either one to d/c, whats stopping the paused person to unpause when you are gone for a while and taking the match?

Its not really about pausing, they put their modem on standby or something and it kind of freezes the game.

Because they are freezing the game, not pausing it.
 
I changed my zone to 'family' as my newphew is set to this zone. Will this make a difference to the quality of players I get?

Dont play much ranked but just won my 1st from 5. :(

The person scored first and proceeded to show me the replay for about a minute. I scored then did the same, ****** him right off. He then just hacked me down at every opportunity which was strange. Especially when he no longer had a defender.

I was sure he would try the freeze instead of the whupping he got.
 
And hooray, ive got another cheating italian, im an hour in, but ive gave him what for by message.

Losing 2-0 in a 5 minute game, as soon as the second goal goes in, he does the pause cheat.

Thank god ive only got another 29 wins to go then i can finally play only non ranked games where there is no sense to cheat.
