Players certainly make better runs than on the demo, I wouldn't say they are quite as active as on FIFA but that is due to the lack of a dedicated button, that is, if there is a lack of a button, I've been fiddling with the buttons and it does seem some of the triggers may trigger players to make runs.

If you press L1 and then pass the players do the same sort of runs as they do on FIFA, which is something at least.

The dribbling is somewhat improved from the demo, its not quite as fluid as FIFA but that isn't something that is bothering me and if it was bad, it would be.

Shooting is nice, you have the option of a normal shot, which you control the power of quite like FIFA, its perhaps a bit more sensitive but there isn't much in it.

The other shooting option is a controlled shot which is where you press R1 just as you shoot and its basically similar to a finesse shot on FIFA. And then you have two types of chip shot, low and high.

I'd wait for some people who have probably played the demo and the full game more than me to answer your questions first, I'm still getting used to it

As I said before, I thought the PES demo was quite poor compared to FIFA 11, but give it a few hours and you start to see just why it is a great game, its just different... in a good way.

You can dive now too (dont know if you could on the older ones), press R3 + L3 and the player falls dramatically, usually get a yellow card though

Edit: It seems that BLES-01020 is the version the vast majority of the UK will have. The 01021 version should only be for Scandinavia but it looks like some copies of this version also got into the UK. It remains to be seen if the likes of WENB will maintain both option files when the official UK version looks like it should be 01020.

It this BLES stuff only in relation to the PS3 version? I can't find a similar code on my 360 copy for the life of me!

Yeah I'm yet to use it effectively in this version, but I remember getting a few penalties with it on one of the PS2 games back in the day!

Hilariously, during one of my games against the AI in the demo, Henry dived (AI was Barcelona) in my box and got a yellow card! So it's funny to see the AI using it as well.

I've been playing the demo today and am really quite likin' it, not sure why as I almost instantly dismissed it after playing the demo when it first came out
maybe cos I used to only play pro evo, but I definitely prefer the cam on pro evo to fifa

prob gonna buy this but nore sure for ps3 or xboxx

PES6 was the first to have diving IIRC.

Could anyone who has D/L this give me a brief guide on how to install it on the PS3. Currently have it sitting on a memory stick but the PS3 doesn't seem to be able to see the files

Go to Save Data Utility for PS3 and your see USB stick then need to copy every single file on there one by one i know its long but worth it.

(also make sure its just PS3 folder with everything inside on stick)

Get DLC on Tuesday and i should think by end of week will be another Option File out adding new stadiums and other stuff cant wait.

It does take a while copying the files but considering how much you play the game, a few minutes is nothing!

It is only relevant to the PS3 version I think. The game seems to be region specific, probably something to do with what PSN region you should be in. May have something to do with trophies and that jazz, but it means that option files developed by someone with a BLES-20 version will only be usable with others who also have BLES-20. Pain in the arse tbh but I reckon the UK based modders will eventually consolidate on 20 rather than 21, since 20 appears to be the official UK version.

I don't know how 360 options files work though tbh, how do you get downloaded stuff onto a 360 without a usb port?

For some strange reason my PS3 does not allow me to access the files, maybe I have the version it isn't compatible with ;-/

If you answer the question in post #394 then it will give you a clue, though TBH I suspec it is just that you don't have the correct directory structure set up on the USB stick.
