That brown is a just a very thing cardboard cover to protect it from dust and scratches

It's a nice plexi-glass window with serpentine design on it

I received my test GPUs yesterday morning.

So I decided to fire up the systems check if things are actually working, and well play some games

Makes heating cheaper

I use less gas

The 2900gt's are just there to get the system up and running, I'll be replacing them soon enough.

What kinda paint you use? how you go about it?

It's spray paint.

Brandname = plasti-kote

I used the white primer and matt black paint.

I sanded the alu with 300 grit sandpaper.

Then I used baby whipes to clean them. Left to dry for 30 mins.

Then applied light coats of primer ever hour. I left it to dry well.

Once it was all white, I started with the black paint.
Light coat every hour.

Kept going until it looked good to me

I think ima have ago as i like the finish and it costs way less than powdercoating.

Aslong as you don't mess up the job it's cheaper

Good luck with it. It's nice to do it all yourself.

Just remember light thin coats!

Think I will be looking to paint the inside of my P180B for an all black design.. bit pointless really as it dosent have a window... and its in a position that you won't be able to see in it as its at the side of my desk. Looks great by the way!

Yeah, strange ive went for a case this big but the price was good and i got a powersupply with it which i need anyway. Its brilliant to work with and I really like it.. really want a A05B for my desk tho, or a v600.. something i can mod with a windows but still look stylish and not OMGZGAMER!!1
