Anyway thought the first PCARS was very enjoyable. I had to stop playing after it (pretty much killed my T500RS on the PS4).
Shortly after I decided to get myself a gaming PC.This is when I found Iracing, Assetto Corsa and Raceroom. Haven't looked back since. I have high hopes for this new PCARS2. Needless to say I won't be getting it for the console.

Having cars locked as an option is cool for those that want that.
Having them locked for everyone is not cool.
Some people just want to drive whatever they want and don't have the time or patience to grind for unlocks.
I remember the early days of GT5, where people were doing the birthday ticket trick to get the cars they actually wanted, but all the purists were crying and bitching about it being 'cheating' and that they didn't deserve or have the ability to drive those cars because they hadn't earned them

I'd love for a full on career like the golden Gran Turismo days of old, where you started with bargain bucket cars, upgraded them and slowly increased your garage which in turn opens up more and more events. I'd love something like that again, but in the style of Test Drive Unlimited where you could see all your lovely rides in the garages of your properties 
I'm hoping Forza Motorsport 7 does come out on PC as expected, and has something totally special going on under the hood. iRacing is my sim racing fix, Forza will always be my car porn and upgrades fix

I'm tempted with Forza Horizons 3, it's very arcadey by the looks of it, but could be fun!

Man, I sunk some serious hours into the OG Gran Turismo and was ground breaking for the time. Sweet how you had to do so much to unlock cars and it felt gratifying when you did put the time in.

for those that dont know many users who complained about the handling were banned and refunded instantly from pcars.i find it hilirious that now they got number 2 on the go ready to sell they admit it was wrong.
