Project Cars 2 is en route :D

All tracks ive tried so far are working fine for me, on a clear day with full grid, msaa on high and everything else maxed out except motion blur off (hate that in all games) I can get average of 75fps with it flying way above 75fps a lot of the time

However, tried same settings in a downpour with lightning and frames were going into the 40s which isn't a massive deal to me with my gsync monitor but still didn't like seeing those numbers, sooooo put everything on high instead and now in downpour with lightning on same track get constant 60+fps :)

Not bad really when you take a look at my modest setup,oh I havnt downloaded and installed the new NVidia driver yet so will do that now and test again, seems well optimized though.

Only played with joypad so far but found it LOADS better than pc1 with a pad, will try wheel tomorrow, overall I'm loving this game so far, even though I'm utter poop lol

If anyone has a few hours to kill (maybe listen at work) if you google:
PROJECT CARS 2 CEO Q and A with Ian Bell & Gameplay
a lot of swearies so can't link directly. A 7 hour long YouTube video of the CEO of SMS/PC2

It's a fascinating insight into the making of the game, touches on everything you could ask, including the AI issues.
He speaks very openly about the game and answers questions on a live stream, it goes on for hours but somehow I listened to most of it (what time is it??)

Sounds like an amazing guy to work for, you really need to listen if you have a slow Friday on the cards.

well I'm off to bed...so far I like the game but it needs its bugs sorted, ive had a crash to desktop, camera bugs, and hud bugs, oh also had a stutter bug on the same straight during a online race even though I was getting over 70fps, every lap when I got to the straight in exactly the same place it stuttered quick.

yeah apart from bugs I like it lol

Well my plans for a cheeky few laps before work are shot, bloody dog has puked everywhere in the night...good boy for going downstairs onto the hard floors so we don't have to sort carpets out though.

I hate it when that happens.

Using a Fanatec CSR Elite I found the others felt heavier than Raw but definitely got more road feel from raw. This was all at default, will test more later.
