Only got to try it briefly before work and thus didn't have much time to fiddle but the first thing that I noticed is that the FFB is poor around the centre of the wheel on both a CSWv2.5 and an OSW. It actually feels better on a CSWv2.5. Won't comment on the physics as I didn't have anywhere near enough time to properly test them, on the two GT3 cars I tried it was a bit stuck to the rails but the cars are probably running conservative setups by default.
Visually it's a game that can look like a million dollars one moment and then really quite average at other times. The time of day and weather seems to play a huge part in whether the game looks amazing or just average. If you go to certain tracks using standard sunny afternoon weather around midday the game honestly doesn't look so hot, you can see how low res the track textures and environment are (just as you could in pCars1) but if you play on the same track at a different time of day such as when the suns settings the game starts to suddenly look a lot better... the impressive lighting engine can do its thing, snazzy Hollywood effects kick in such as lens flare etc, it starts to look more 'wow'. The cars (interior and exterior) and lighting in this game really do look amazing, the tracks and environment ? not so much... in-fact id go as far as to say they look worse than several other sims on the market such as AC.
Will give it a proper session when I'm back from work.
