I completely understand, however I was disqualified from an iRacing race due to people slamming in to me during my first couple of rookie races (diving in to corners, etc. and taking me out). I learnt to keep out of the way completely until I left the rookie licence.
 
I’m just away to purchase this game as I have found it for £22.99 question is will I get good gaming out of my rigs. I suspect my desktop will be fine but my laptop might struggle? I play PC1 on both fine at the Moment.

Any comments greatly appreciated and will help in my decision to buy it. I’ve been humming and haying since it came out but you can’t go wrong a that price.
 
I was just worried as I was looking into the recommended system requirements and I don't exactly match up I meet the minimum though, I know my i5 might be as good as an i7 but not to sure how a gtx1060 matches to a 1080

didn't want to buy a game that would be unplayable or in very low settings

I play it on a 27" 5K iMac with the standard gfx card @ 2560x1440 so it should run on your laptop just fine.

I've been trying to get my rating up. It's an absolute slog on the public servers considering 90% of the people on there are complete muppets and regularly take you out. I got up to A1621 then had to retire from a race with only 4 people in and it dropped down to A1598 :o

That’s good to hear I’ll be mostly on my laptop as I’m forever working away from home but looking forward to playing it on my home comp! Once I’m up and running I’ll add you! Hate folk running into you especially if you have the damage settings on!

There are still a fair few bugs but it's still a great game.

They haven't updated it since November so I have a feeling there'll be one dropping soon that should get rid of these last few bugs.

I did a 5 lap race last night. The green light was at different times for different people (they were setting off without a penalty) then I was 4th when I eventually got going, halfway around the lap it said I was 2nd despite not passing anyone, then I passed the guy for 1st at the end of lap one. I crossed the line to start the 2nd lap in the lead and the race finished and I was 3rd. It took 16 points off my license too (1608 down to 1592).

It's way too easy to drop license points. It took me 6 races of good results to gain the points I lost with one DNF.

I'll give it a try then, how are the engine notes/sounds?

Is there a photo mode? I'm addicted to taking photos in car games and editing in Photoshop.

Sure, I'll have to do it later as I need to boot my Mac into Windows and I'm working right now. I remember I had some issues when I first set it up.

There have been a lot of updates recently so maybe it's fixed any issues you've had.
