So pwetty:

So to get further I'm still waiting on:
Asus VI Formula
GTX 780 (not sure which yet)
Asus 27" PB278Q
And 1 more 256GB Samsung 840 Pro
Lastly the Acrylic tubing :)

I can then get both machines up and running including starting the Watercooling...

Ahhhhh! I feel like I've just caught up to-date with a TV show, now I have to wait for my next fix!

Great job, loving the amount of thought and effort going into it.

No need to be sorry, its your PC/desk mate!! ;)

Hope you had a good holiday... go anywhere nice?

I'm sooo looking forward to seeing the next instalment. :)

So got a bit of time this afternoon to work on the beloved!

Was finishing off testing and installing some LED's, making and fitting the HDD holders, and testing out the fittings for the CD/Fan Controller cover.

We tried a few things for the LED's.
Under the tray shining up, above the tray shining up under the mobo, and on the bottom of the mobo shining down into the tray.

I found that shining it down worked the best and made the whole try ping up nicely.

So fitting:

Getting the HDD's started for the mounts.
But whats with the mobo standoffs?!

Nice bit of rubber washers to hopefully dampen any vibrations:

Starting to take shape:

Little recessed notches to stop the HDD's from moving around:

You can see how it sits in place:

Can see the rubber washers acting as a spacer and hopefully stop vibrations:

Getting the CD cover sorted.
Screw hole counter sunk:

Now a nice night shot of the LED's:

The tray needs a big clean so excuse the dusty look:

That's all for now...
Been trying to finish off the PSU cables man its a nightmare and takes forever...

Nice update!
One personal niggel, i think that the LED at the bottom of the tray is too bright :o

Ye those night shots are taking in too much light.
In real life its not that bright I promise you.
Just my camera shutter was staying open too long, letting in too much light.

The big problem I can see is the extra expense of employing an orchestral choir to stand in a corner and sing a chorus of amazement whenever you turn on the lighting because that does look amazing, especially with the name etched on the tray.

Maybe hooking up a mp3 player would be cheaper.

Seriously, that looks amazing.

Bwhahaha that made me LOL!
