Looks really good, just don't ruin it with that 3M Carbon crap!

Ye I've started to doubt myself on the Carbon wrap.
But I still think it will look good as like a backdrop under the mobo trays and so forth.

If it really doesn't look good I will peel it off and replace with maybe Matt black or just stain the rest of the wood underneath.

Not 100% sure at the moment.

Does the PSU look ok at the back there?

Far be it from me to criticise but, if it were me, I'd either hide it or paint it the same as the rad covers.

I've been following this build for a while now but haven't commented yet. One of the few regrets I have in life is that I simply don't have the skill or patience for anywhere near this level of craftsmanship. I wish I did but I don't. I'm loving this build and I look forward to future developments.

Keep up the good work mate, you're making an awesome job of it :)

Thanks guys :)
Appreciate all the feedback.

I am looking at making a cover for the front bay devices, but not sure if we will do anything with it yet.

Also not 100% sure about the PSU details yet.
But I think it will look nice, as I am sleeving the cables.

Also the PSU itself will be mostly hidden by the lid.

So did a quick test cable.
This is just so that I can see how long I need and a rough cable layout.

Any other ideas?

Also I will be cutting a hole down the bottom so that the cables come in from the bottom corner.
I just ran it over as thats kinda how it will run.

Also I will be using cable mounting, so they run nice and neat down the side, and under the mobo tray.

img0410xk.jpg

So here you can see it will run around the back.

Does that work? Any other ideas?

When you say bottom left, do you mean as pictured below? I think it would look smart, through the cable mounting and straight out without kinking/turning corners. Can do all of that out of sight behind the frame itself.

Technically yes.

But that section where the Switch is has a top cover.
Also that side will be against a wall so not really.

If it is, I could always make a box type cover for it.
Or just use a cable management to keep it against the side and bobs your uncle.
