Project : Evolution : TJ07 : By Avathar77

looking good - i really dont understand everyones fascination with the antec 1200 :p :p :p

same here :p, last christmas when I was researching a case to get, I saw just how many people had it on youtube etc, and ruled out it and the 902 immediately :p

Antec 1200 is a great case!
When I first saw it in a review in custom PC magazine I told my self, "That is the one I will get some day"!
That was about 2 years ago :D

And then I saw TJ07 in the same mag, and I thought "only if I win a lottery!"

Edit : I didn't win a lottery by the way. I just found a TJ07 going cheap!

just got my TJ07.more pic please.quickly i need ideas.just got to paint the inside black first

Ha ha! did you finally get one!
I noticed you were looking for one just as I got mine!

I am going to do the powdercoat/vinyl last.
I am still waiting on some parts so it might take some time, have small updates topost though, I might do it tonight or tomorrow.

Excellent! Beware always with the dremel Dont ever forget your protective glasses.

I COMPLETELY AGREE

when i dremel i use:

-thick leather gloves -reduces vibrations and better grip
-ear plugs -i find doing intricate work a lot easier when it is quiet
- high impact goggles from uni -for the inevitable bits that fly towards you

i also tied a pillowcase over my mouth and nose when dremeling anything with powder-coating because you breathe in all the black dust and i felt REALLY bad after the first day i used the dremel and didnt wear a face mask :p

i look like a bloody wierdo with all the PPE on :p :p :p

but i have 6 hdds

Front of the case has 7 bays right? so you can put 7 HDDs if you want ;)
But you may have to use some bay converters!
I have a CFP51 with my case which can hold 4 x 3.5" HDDs. but not sure if I will use it or not.
Or you can use some second hand drive cages or the drive cages which came with your case to fix on the front as well!

thanks mate,if you don't use the cfp51 give us a nudge i might take it off you.i'm just working out the rad positions.i've retapped the threads on my xspc rx360 to m4 as they were 6-32 and they are hard to find.having fun so far.don't like drilling holes in my new case though

ok,i'm working on my baby today.now i got an xspc rx360 rad with vipers and an xspc rx240 with 2 vipers to put in.i want to put both in the bottom but it's very tight.with my bitspower black sparkle 45 degree fittings they just won't fit.too wide, any ideas?

Looks very nice!

Note on the Dremel Cutting disc issues.

Try and use them at 45 degrees to the cut.

Even with this however, you'll find that often they break and snap. Supposedly the speedclic attachment discs are much better.

However personally after seeing a guide on the dremel cd about cutting through thick metal, I just double up my discs. So I put two on at once. I have to be more careful with cutting with them, because obviously they create a wider cut, but I haven't had any issues with one breaking on me so far!
