Lovely build m8, could you please link the 2 bits for the QDC, also what did you
Use to mount the SSD to the back?

OCUK website does not have or have the incorrect picture for the item, but if you do a search for the following you will find them.

VL4-M13-19S
VL4-F13-19S

These are for 1/2" ID 3/4"OD tubing, they have the compression fittings at the end.
VL4 version will spill a tiny bit of liquid when disconnecting, but it would be about 3-5 drops and once you get the hang of it, even that is easily avoidable by the way you turn the QDCs. I have used them many many times, they can be a bit big for certain loops but can be useful non the less.
In my latest loop(not shown here) I have removed them to see how much of an effect they cause due to restriction/flow.
I used a AQ High flow meter to measure the flow rate and they made no difference in terms of flow :)
So I am going to put them back in next time.

There are VL4N variants that has no spill at all! and the new QD4(and QD3) models koolance have released this month are smaller and even less restrictive than these while keeping the same no spill characteristics.

I used "no more nails double sided tape" for this.
It has a strong enough tape to hold my 480mm RAD stand(with the RAD and fans) in the case with just 3 pieces of tape underneath! And I can't move it.

For SSDs I use a tiny bit of it(about 5mm on opposite sides) to hold them to the back of the case and to each other. They are 1mm thick so much better than velcro

how did you route the fan cables to the fan controller, did you use extensions?
How did you mount the HDD ?

I used a 3pin to 4 x 3pin Extension by Phobya for the RAD fans(4xGT1450s), and another for the case fans(2x120mm at the top and 2 x 92mm at the rear).
They are controlled by the AQ5LT depending on the temperature.

I did have a 1TB Sammy HDD mounted on a HDD mount and vertically placed in the front drive bay area(as shown in a pic in post#61) but I removed it and went all SSDs :)
Currently have a M4 128GB for OS drive and an Intel 520 160GB drive for games.
But Intel 160GB drive is filling up because of my virtual machines and steam game collection, so I was thinking of placing a spare 2.5" HDD as a data drive.
I have enough space for 2 more 2.5" drives just above the SSDs.
Most of my data is in the home server(HP Microserver N40L).

Great looking build/evolution. I particularly like the cable management you've got on there, very tidy indeed!

Thank you :)
It has changed now(better i hope), but between my work and a less than a month old new born - not enough time in the world to upload pics :D

But it is long over due for a clean up and liquid change, may be I can get some pics then.

Yeah IP35-Pro is a great board - many features and solid performance, couple that with the Q6600 and that was it :)
Shame ABIT went bust :(

i know this is an old thread but i am curious as to what your pc temps did after removing the 240 rad and going with the 480 rad only?
thank you

Hi
Can't remember the exact figures now but temps were not different! What did happen was the increase of flow rate. GTS240 RAD is very restrictive both in terms of liquid flow and air flow(high fpi count).
480 rad is more than enough for a single cpu+gpu setup :)

wow no change at all?
getting ready to install a quad and 240 in the bottom of a tj07.
so i might as well just sell the 240 eh as i only cool the cpu and one gpu?
thank you
