Project: Hush! - updated 26/12/23

Crazy ambitious pro project Monkey Puzzle I like it :D Awesome log, I'm still timid when it comes to water cooling and beyond, Very nicely done so far, ton of great work gone into this, the ports look very nice, Look forward to seeing the finished piece, good luck and subscribed :).

Certainly seems to be coming along, will be watching with interest.

Must be frustrating to get so much done and then not be able to some for a while.

Right, progressing with it - went back at the weekend and did some work on it. Almost sealed up and test ran the pump through it with one end still open - flow seems pretty good. :)

I'm now doing the supportive frame - 4 of 75mm x 400mm x 6.25mm aluminium plates that will have 37 slits in each for the heatfins to slot into, and be attached with the aid of the strongest type of araldite epoxy I can find (2012 for those who're interested). As well as the 37 troughs (won't go all the way through the aluminium plates) there'll be steps cut to sit flush with 1/8"thick right angle vertical supportive frames.

I'm going to have my friend Robin hopefully set his CNC lathe on it (the alternative is 148 slots cut with dremel and pillar drill!), but he needs a CAD plan with starting points... which is where I now ask for a bit of help! I don't have access to CAD or know how to use it - if anyone has it and is willing to convert some paint plans with details of the measurements etc into a cad cnc milling cutting plan I would be extremely grateful (would happily pay a tenner by paypal for time spent - not sure how much time it would take - probably an hour or two). If anyone is interested in my shameless plea for help please send me an email via trust.

I read this a few months ago and was blown away, it looks incredible. Once it's done would you be able to anodise it or something? That would look pretty intimidating!

If you send me (email in trust) what it is you want I should be able to make some CAD files no issues, doesnt sound complicated.
Find out what file types your mate can use.

must admit this is cool, will be waiting on some updates and final piccys to go up aswell with some temperatures of your xeon!

Hey BIGBC, are you still able make the CAD files? My friend says he can use any of the file types; could you save the plans as a few different types? He'll be using a program to convert the files into cutting instructions for the CNC milling machine.

Will drop you an email now. Sounds like a simple job but would need to make sure Ive got the right end of the stick before you make the first cut. Still, CAD models are pretty interactive and engineering drawings are easily generated. Im sure we'll figure something out.
