PROJECT: MAGNUS AQUA DOMUS!

Haha the 50-70, I did, at the time of purchasing I couldn't find stock from a retailer that I'd use though so went for home made :p

Need to remember and get some glue as well, the bit in front of the radiator on the mid plate is a Phobya flex light, the double sided tape that comes with it is junk so I'll just glue it on.

It'll be even nicer once it's in a functioning state :o

It is big and very very heavy fully loaded, I had to pick it up off the table once done, I'd guess weighing around 50kg. I'll have to get 8 pack in to shift it next time :p

Oh and if you had any doubts about dual d5's scotty, don't. The pressure these are kicking out is astonishing, full fill and bleed time was under 10mins, single pump was near an hour.

I wouldn't imagine you would be picking it up too often :p

Been thinking about dual and series quite a lot lately.

Even though Vet hacked me off by the way he said things, he did make some valid points.

Been trying to find a answer to - running 2 x res/pump combo's in series.

I can see/find no reason why I couldn't connect them and run in series

You can run them in series, the only issue you may hit is filling, you would need to cycle fluid from the top res to the bottom res first before you hit the switch to fire them both at the same time.

Just keep a close eye on fluid levels in both pump/res combo's as you fill and you should be fine :)

Its pretty much what I had to do with my dual pump setup, cycle the first pump first until the second had plenty of fluid, then fire them both up.

That said if you wanted to go dual loop, it will still work out just as well IMO.

Yep, thought about that potential problem and this is where my lack of knowledge shows :o
Surely the problem would be that the first pump would just fill the res of the 2nd until the 2nd res got completely full?

Could you not get something like this?

That would probably be the better option.

I already have the second res/pump combo, just don't like to return stuff if its not actually faulty

Keep the pumps sell the reservoirs on the MM? Perhaps even consider tops and get a cylinder res in on show?

Though I don't see a problem having two single units in series, just keep an eye on fluid levels while filling :)

One of the final pieces to the puzzle:

Cheers :)

Minor setback, I got the rad 2nd hand from a good friend, presuming it would be m3 bolts, its not it's m4 :(

BUT I should still manage to plumb it in today and I'll fit bolts tomorrow after I've raided works store :)
