The quality on these is absolutely brilliant, the para cord gives a strong feel, yet still flexible with a soft fabric feel.

Alchemy extensions are very good, but they do feel quite cheap next to these :D

Cheers everyone :)

It's due with me tomorrow, using some kingston 2400mhz cl11 stuff atm running at xmp with much lower sa/vtt voltages then the Samsung stuff required for 1866mhz!! Though it won't tune well at all. The g.skill kit should give me something around 2400 cl10.

Acrylic sheets are due today too so I'll get measuring and cutting tomorrow :D

Acrylic sheets are here!! I'll take them into work tomorrow to shave 200mm from one side and make some L-Brackets while I'm at it to support the other side.

I do need to find some drawings showing HPTX stand-off spacing so I can get those hole drilled too. Edit: SORTED

Going to be a looooong weekend I just know it.

My Samsung is running at 1866mhz @ 1.3v. Is that good or do I just have lower expectations?

Thats good, we all but confirmed its an MSI compatibility issue with the Samsung dimms in another thread. Seems to be a bios issue on both Z77 and X79, Z77 is in someway cured via a beta bios, but no such betas exist on X79.

I was requiring stupid voltages to get any form of meaningful gain, even then I had to use slack timings, like 1760mhz CL11 requiring 1.42v on SA and VTT, 1.9v PLL & dram voltage of 1.65v which would still go belly up under memtest.

Time for some kip!

Long day ahead tomorrow, have to strip down, get this panel cut and in place, decide if I can be bothered patching any other areas up.

Nope!!!!

Now due Monday, last time I order from that place, over 2 weeks to get something to me from Birmingham. To top it off they're sending it with ups, I ******* hate ups and their 'come collect your parcel at your local depot' that's a 3 hour round trip to get to :p

I could have ordered from the states and got it quicker.

What replacement did you get?

You wouldn't be the first :o

I can't use the usual, dangle it over the sink and slash a hose as it's too heavy :p

I'll sort something out, I always end up leaving drain options out, but I think I have enough slack on the pump tubing to pull that out of the case and take a fitting off :)
