Project Marshlands: A Military Themed Build..

Amazing so far. You need the coolant to match now for the rad. Maybe dirty engine oil colouring (if possible?)

Was thinking about using mayhems aurora (Gold) and mixing it with some black dye..

Just a thought for now.. My thoughts are now in overdrive on which rad to get to replace the top one..

since OcUK are using your build to promote their business through facebook, I think they should send you one for free!!! :D

5UB, rjkoneill what do say ;);););););)

I'm trying my best not to comment on this.. ;)

Just saw the free delivery for active forum members with long standing accounts.. I need three more posts :D

Great attention to detail and love how easy the camo looks to do, I'm guessing the process is more involved than the couple of comments you posted along with pictures!? ;)

The rads need to be darker & some similar effect on PSU cover to match but darker to match shade of the case?

Not really, all you need to do is get the design from the film onto your object.. The post with the pics show it exactly like it is..

Compelled to comment.

Wonderful work throughout. Love the PSU Cover and Backplates.

Thanks for the lovely comment infernox.. ;)

Ordered the xspc ex240.. seem like a nice compact 240mm rad and the dimensions are a lot smaller than the current one..

Fingers crossed..

Ps.. Thanks for the free next day shipping guys..

I'm also intrigued as to what 5UB has managed to sneak into Keenan's latest order

Somehow he knew it was my birthday today an pm'ed me saying that he snuck in an old stale piece of the AMD "Special Friday" cake with a half burned out candle..

Hope he's being serious as my wife is sitting next to me having her morning coffee and still haven't said a word..

Did a quick photoshoot early this morning..

Even pci-e slots have little happy faces.. ;)

...and the twins..

Absolutely love this, I was a bit sceptical at the start that it would just look tacky but all the attention to detail and work has paid off. It looks great.

I'm very curious how you coolant will look, it would be epic if you could somehow use engine oil but would no doubt wreck the pumps and blocks

Thanks Gambisk, I'll try my best to give this project the coolent it deserves ;)

ive been watching this build on another site, and i must say, it is awesome!

Thanks davido_labido, I'm very glad you like it..

Nice set of images there, what camera/lens are they taken with?

Hi colinmcr, earlier in the build I used a Finepix fx5000 "point and shoot".. After that I used a Canon EOS 350D with a 50mm f1.8 lens and for the last few images I used the normal 18-55 f3.5 kitlens for the shorter focal length..

For any "macro shots I use a 10mm extension tube..

i really like those graphics backplates, what have you fixed them to the cards with?

Hi rjkoneill, just double sided tape as Scougar mentioned..

I think he said double sided sticky tape/pads earlier in the thread.

Thanks Scougar ;)

In that picture with the PSU it really pushes the look. You should do the lower fans in the same colour to match the lower part of this amazing build. It would so fit the weathered and perfectly done work.

Definitely have some plans to finish of the fans..;)

Oi! I demand my answer to the Apache fan's sticker question!!! :p

haha, sorry I completely missed that..

At the end, when all the hard work's done I plan to remove all the labeling including the apache stickers on the fans..

The fans will also get some darkening to show their age.. that should help with the blending..

For today I will aim to get the new rad basecoated and dipped.. :)

1) OcUK soon to release line of keenan inspired/designed cases/systems :-D

2) OcUK Forums Ghetto mod: Dragging your PC behind your car/bike/dog :-D

I know I'd prefer number one :-D

That's just because option number 2 would probably leave it working much worse than it looks.. ;)

Dude, whats happening with this? I've been checking back every day in the hope my sub alerts weren't working and you'd added updates. I can't wait to see some more updates on this :D

Hi DJ Bucho.. I have been struck by the worst flu in years.. Been in bed for the biggest part of two weeks now! Hopefully things improve in the coming week!

Thanks for checking in..

Hi guys, sorry for the lack in updates, I have been ill the last few days and pretty much spent the majority of them in bed! Feeling better today and done some adjustments to the radiators and also painted the fan controller..

Thought I would do a quick assemble to see were everything's at...

Is this done and dusted now or is there more to come? I sort of feel the same as i do when the walking dead takes a mid season break!!!!!

Well, luckily the forth Season just started, so it seems there must be some viewing pleasure left.. ;)

I refitted the bottom rad and got the cabling done. Next step is to get the copper pipe measured, cut, bent and fitted...
