Project: Rad In Mi Kitchen

Awesome!

I will be going to water soon, and I can't decide whether to buy it pre-mixed, or just buy the dye. Do you just keep adding drops into the reservoir until the colours how I want it?

Cheers

I did have a problem at first where the dye was just fading, so I had to drain the system and flush it a couple of times. But yeah, then after that I just added a few drops until it went to a colour that I liked :)

One person I'd like to thank - my 10 y/o brother. He helped flush the rad, he helped to hide inside the box my case came in, he helped hold certain stuff in place, and generally provided a spare set of hands when I needed them. He also benched crysis for me, and played it for a day and got further than me :o

Thanks bud :)

I'm considering just replacing the fans altogether, as they don't push that much air (34cfm @ 1200rpm) so I might get some vipers which push more air, and they are braided too :D
The problem with having a braided cable is that at the moment the cables are being routed through a very thin hole and a braided cable is probably too thick to fit through the hole.

I think I've used about 5-6 drops so far, and although the water in the tubing is blue, it's not getting any darker if I add anymore drops, the water in the res just seems to be getting darker without it being pushed around the loop.

I currently have my D5 running at speed 5. What speed is yours running at?

Cheers
Adam

I'm finding the same thing. The water in the res appears darker than the water in the tubing, however when I add more drops it does get darker in the whole system. I'm running my pump at speed 4 :)

Was looking back through this again, as when I was finding out how to water cool ect with the case I was using (PC 80B). Its quite wierd but but we have the same case, keyboard, headphones and mouse mat. I shall have to get some photos up, although I dont think it will compare to how yours finished.

Nice work.
