Project: Rad In Mi Kitchen

Thought you guys might like to see this. I put a lot of drops of mayhem's dye into the loop, but it kept fading, so I drained the loop, thinking something was clogging it, and then refilled it with new distilled water. The water somehow became dyed :o

it will fade as it becomes more diluted :p

just keep adding it until it's at the concentration you like.

you'll probably get gunking eventually, but give your loop a teardown every few months and give it a good clean (or use coloured hose)

i've had to bung a fair bit in before before it got the the depth of colour i wanted...

but if this is fading over a few weeks, then you'll be getting plastiser build up which will leach the colour out of the dye.

how long have you had it in there before you considered it fading?

Another vote for mayhems here, using his dye and biocide with distilled. A bottle of dye will last you forever, about 3 drops of the UV purple is enough for a litre of distilled, no staining or gunking either after a good 7-8 months of use.

The main cables on show are:

p4 cable - Waaay too short to route round
gfx power cables - same as above
24pin - too thick, so when I route it round the other side of the motherboard tray, I can't put the side panel on.
sata cables etc - don't look that bad irl

Just did a bit of cable management, it looks better now... but I can't put the side panel on. And the only way to get it on would be to mess up all this good cable management work I just did.
