Project Reality v1 finally here

Played most of last night, a great exspericence, love it, its all about teamwork, no game gives the sence of danger like this, like i have said before, have all the latest fps games and much prefer this, your find the people that say its a load of crap are the ones that find it much to hard for them, and are use to games like COD and vanilla BF, you need to puts hours,days or even months into this game, see you on the battlefireld guys.

Yeah its exactly that. I only played a little bit but it really was a case of a calm before the storm.

I was with one of the guys from our DayZ server and he was showing me how it all works, we were sneaking around and you'd hear a few cracks and then you'd just hear an absolutely hail of steel going both ways. It was brilliant.

Definitely enjoyed it, hoping we can get some population on our server over the next few days. Would appreciate any seeding/streaming people can spare and we're looking for a few extra admins solely for the PR server.
 
No problem, as good as the mod is hopefully it'll get the traffic to keep it online.

I hate playing on other servers, you never know if the admins are going to ban you for getting in their cars or using a kit they want. Easier to cut the middlemen out and do it yourself :D
 
what is server called, just refreshed pr server list, also you have got mumble activated, and is it 64 or 100 player, as if 100, people should know that only 64 players show up on map, think 64 better.

Right, been on server for a while now, very stable, but i think you need to not use insurgency game type for now, as you need at least 4 in squad to get weapon c4 loadout to blow up cache, so you can progress in game, until server gets popular, i think just use Skirmish mode.
 
Well done ToeJam and CPC for getting 100 players in their new server.

Personally I think if they stick to Insurgency and standard AAS maps they'll get more traffic as the vehicle warfare maps are really only playable by experienced players.

Insurgency and standard AAS maps still have vehicles, they're just not a spam fest of explosions.

Well done and keep it up.
 
Some good rounds on CPC tonight, enjoyed it quite a bit despite some of the serious derping going on at times! Shall most likely be on again getting the server populated!
 
Great leading mate, really enjoyed tonight. Lost a lot of hours without realising it.

So much fun running round with an organized squad. Finally theres more than one game where if you smash the rounds down it makes people hide and care about dying and if they step out, they get slaughtered. I do love me my LMG :D

Picking things up quickly and as they happen, I find its easier to play a class where the main aim is to use up all of my ammunition and learn from what others are doing so if I need to do it.. I know without looking like a massive tit.

I'm just in the middle of writing a batch file to make sure if the server does go down, it'll be down for a maximum of 15 seconds before its restarted. Once this is done I'm off to bed.

If you haven't played PR before then give it a good chance. Try jumping on a server with someone who knows what they are doing so they can show you the ropes.

We're all currently on the CPC server as the Taliban protecting our weapon caches from the US. Brutal!
 
I'm planning getting this installed tomorrow..haven't played bf in many moon's and even when i did it wasn't often..hopefully learn from a few on the CPC server.
 
Brutal isn't the word.. I'm missing my optics haha! Though I am loving my PKM.

I write this while face down after a squad in the field stood up and minced me.
