The turbo will come in before VTEC. The redline will stay as standard, there's no point revving it higher on a turbo build as the majority of 'streetable' turbochargers start to run out of breath up at the high end of the rev range.
 
Drexel, theres a pretty neat looking S2000 on the owners forums that a guy has been trying to sell for ages, up for 8600 at the moment...

He's been trying to sell it since January, so i recon if you wafted 8k cash under his nose you'd get it.

here are the details

2000 W Plate 65000 miles. Silverstone.

Mot till September 2008. Tax till August 2008

FHSH

I'm the third owner

New front tyres put on in September
New rears put on this morning.

Lowered on d2 coilovers. Cars has done around 6000 miles with them on. (still have originals so will include them if buyer wants no extra cost)

snorkle and front strut brace.

Blaupunkt Casablanca MP56 head unit with external harddrive with about 30 gig of music on. Dash controls connected.

Ive got all the various cleaning products, for the plastic screen. leather and roof so they will be included with the sale.


Bad points.

Had a accident last year (i have pictures if anybody wants to see them ill send them) damage was to back rear quarter fully repaired under insurance. It was only panel damage i was very lucky not to hit the wheels. (its not cat c/d listed either)

Roof has the usual small tears by the door handles.

Wheels could do with a refurb. I never got round to it.

Con: Whilst that seems tempting, I would still have to get mine running properly before I sell it, then wait god knows how long to sell it etc. etc...

I quite honestly can't be arsed, it's not like I'm unhappy with the Integra as a car, and I don't feel a particular need/want to get shot of it.

Simon/Jonny: Do you think an oil cooler is neceserry?

surely you could sell most of your bits with part x for standard stuff or whatever? wasnt it just hte cams you had issues with?
 
It'll be getting an SSQV dumpvalve, and an external wastegate with a screamer pipe.

It would still need setting up and mapping again though. Like I said in my edit above, it's not like I feel a particular need/want to get shot of the 'teg, so I can't be arsed with the hastle of parting it out and selling it.

fair enough mate, just wanted you to enter the fold....

s2000's are almost as common on here as MR2's used to be !!
 
Should have a couple of parts pics tomorrow, I started ordering some of the odds and sods today, tomorrow I should have a nice shiny aluminium catch can, and I also ordered some Energy engine mount inserts. These firm up the engine mounts and help reduce axle-tramp etc, combined with the engine torque damper I already have it will mean I'll have a very solidly mounted engine and transmission :cool:

I'll mean more NVH, but meh, the 'teg creaks and rattles loads already, a bit more noise and vibration isn't going to bother be ;)

I also ordered an engine stand, 25 quid from good old ebay. Better than building it on the garage floor like I did with the RX7.......

Aye, it's the full 5 mounts though. Not just inserts.

Spoon ones are cheaper than OE mounts and a bit stiffer, while not sending too many vibrations into the cabin. I've read the Energy ones shake you about a bit:p
 
Yeah, the energy ones are just inserts. When I took my car to bits the inserts were fine but the actual mounts were shafted. I was geting loads of wheel hop, no wonder. I've been meaning to get some ordered but the ongoing saga with my engine is doing nothing but draining my wallet at the moment.:(
