I LOVE THIS NEW MACRO!!!

Haha, yeah I figured you meant ebay a minute or so after I posted that.

this guy better send me a message back then :p

I wonder how hard it is to go reverse atx?

It's very easy, just putting the case back together differently. You need to order a custom backplate though to replace he current one. If it has a window already installed you effectively can't do reverse ATX.

You'd need to cut a window in the other panel as you can't just flip them. You'd then somehow have to "fill in" the original hole in the original side panel as it would only show the back of the motherboard tray.

Not a fan of the 800d, difficult to fit the stuff in that you can with a TJ07. I'd end up modding it to be just like a TJ07 which seems a bit pointless.

What are the advantages of reverse atx?

I think if there's something unrelated to the build, you should post in my thread in the water-cooling section sober don't spam this one up aswell :p

the only real advantage is that it looks nice, it would be cool to be able to see the gpu waterblock through a top window :D

alright then :)

I was actually meaning a different way, like this

I think that your able to do it a different way when the motherboard tray is removable :)

also the only reason if I get the 800d would be if I can't get a tj07 :p

No, he's done it the standard way from what I can see. I've followed that build log before. If you look he's had to cut his own window in the side panel as the case is the "wrong way around". The front of the case is to the left when it should be to the right if the window was showing.

I was tempted to do it so you can see the plexi waterblock through the top window. Still debating it. You'll be needing a windowless case though if you want it.

aah I understand now :p
thought that you meant the flipping the case over type of method :p

Ah, I see. Yeah, it's a pretty simple procedure if it wasn't for the windows. Was tempted to do it but my rooms always seem to fit a traditional PC better so the window isn't against a wall or something.

Ultimately I don't think I will do it. Not because of the extra hastle (there isn't any on my side, just an extra £30 to chilledpc) but because my room layout doesn't suit it in my current house. Not sure about in my student accomodation.

I wouldn't take such a nice rig to student accommodation
My room layout doesn't support it either :/

I took my current one to halls. I'm taking my new one to the accomodation in keep it clean please too. I even live above a shop. It should be fine though. I had no issue in halls, although I was living all with medics who are generally a trustworthy bunch.

but against forum rules.

good start to the project Cleeecooo :)

try to keep your project log a bit more focussed on the project. when people view it they will want to see progression and ideas rather than banter and chit chat.
