Project: Was supposed to be a budget build...

Reallly nice build indeed have some questions that are itching to be asked the choice of fans came down to picking the particular brand you have? Estethics first or performance ?
And I don't remember if you picked PWN fans or not and the pump choice any particular reason for aqua computers D5s? Since ur using the EK housing for 2 serial pumps?
Reason for me to ask is about the pumps are EKs D5 pwn gen2 pumps is the best choice i believe its just some info i'm throwing out to you for ur knowledge ,
Or you could be informed of the differences, but the PWM speed curve on EKs pumps are rather unique on the market yet to date if I'm not wrong, the rpm on a for example aqua computer D5 pump PWM or vario will never go beneath 600/700ish RPM and that might be of no concern but it actually is for several reasons.
EK D5 pwn pumps will go all the way down to 0 RPM if needed and that combined with a masterpiece crafted RPM EK custom PWM curve according to tests they have a clear advantage in head pressure over the other similar versions of D5 pumps and they have better control/synced performance with the D5 dual pump housing , they have greatly improved rpm PWM response and less noice.

Hope you take this information like a well meant gesture for your consideration and that is my intention and the aquaero works just as godlike with the EK D5 PWN. pumps in PWN mode as aquas pumps will from my experience and others to .
Dont know if you knew this about the aquaero 6 versions but the are not in need at all quote from personal phonecall to aqua computers own technical designengineer he said there is no need to for waterblock cooling on the aquaero since it designed with digital signals internally it regulates power use 100% depending on usage i asked so that why you don't sell specific waterblocks for the 6XT/LT versions? Yes he said so just use the heat sink that will provide a lot more cooling then ever needed .
For me its a relief not having to put the 2 6XT controllers in the loop to be honest.

Sorry for writing a novel here but I'd rather explain aswell and understande as possible

Hi,

I went with the NZXT over the Corsair due to the higher CFM specification. The NZXT has a ~68 CFM and the Corsair ~48. I wanted to run the fans at minimum with the highest CFM, but also with RGB.

My whole system is PWM controlled. On Idle the bottom 4 radiator fans and 140mm air intake fans are running silent at around 36 - 42% Speed (around 700 - 800 RPM). When the GPU reacts 32C the top 6 Radiator fans turn on to 30% If ever the GPU reaches over 40C all the fans will gradually increase. This has not happened yet, however may do when I need SLI (Haven't yet) after an extended period or in the summer when it gets hotter.

My Aquaero 6XT is not water cooled. My previous Aquaero 5XT was which I know was overkill.

I went Dual D5 mainly for Silence. I wanted to run the loop at 0.6 Gallons per minute with the lowest RPM and went with the Aquacomputer D5s so I could easily combine them using Aquabus instead of separate PWM Fan connectors. You are right though, the Aquacomputer D5s do not turn off the minimum RPM I can get them to is around 2000, however I need each going at 2400 RPM to maintain a 0.6 Gallon per minute in my single loop. They are silent however. You are also right that they are not synced 100% 1 is running at 2530 rpm and the other at about 2400 Rpm. Below is details of my Aqua Suite setup.

I then pass this info down to AIDA64. I then use Goverly to display the OSD on my external LCD

I was not aware not all D5 pumps are equal, If I had known about the EK D5 PWM v2 I may have bought those. I just went immediately with the Aqua Computer D5 so I could take advantage of the Aquabus. Maybe next time :)
