DVD playback on my 360 is no different to any of the other DVD players we have in the house. (In terms of quality)

It seems to work well for general use DVD playback.

However I suppose different people have different taste and whilst the playback is good enough for me it may not be for someone else.

What screen are you using? I compared using projectors ~80" in size, although I'm pretty sure there would be a visible difference on my mum's 32" Panasonic HDTV. Not sure about TVs under 32" though. Maybe I'm just a demanding customer? :o
