It would be good business sense anyways

), absoloutley nowhere is filling their allotment of preorders and places are even backtracking on steep priced bundles in order to shift them.Same as every other console ever made then?ElRazur said:Now that you mention it i would think it is some sort of internal switch to change a neutral console to pal or ntsc![]()

I would have imagined that it's just the original OS firmware which would deiferentiate (spelling!) the consoles. Obviously the PAL ones will now have different hardware because the emotion engine's been dropped, but before that they would have surely been all the same as it would make production costs lower?R0551 said:One of my customer has a brother in LA and he managed to get hold of a PS3 and stripped it down and noticed that the power supply at least was 110-230 50/60, not sure about that switch though, but considering the power supply I'd say there is.

But then you wouldnt be able to play any games as they are all out on BD!!!-Tauren- said:Id rather they drop the blu-ray player out and knock a couple of hundred off the price tag tbh. I'd never use the blu-ray player. All i want is a damn console that will play GAMES and non of this fancy stuff that is blatantly bumping up the prices. The blu ray player should have been an optional add-on imo.
