PS4 and Xbox Rumours

Looks pants. Only good thing was I didn't see any silly avatars in the dashboard. Will keep an eye out for the exclusive games but my expectations are pretty low at this point unfortunately.
 
Fortza 5 looked good, wish he could not say Fortza each time though lol.

Strange name for a 3rd console, still not convinced by it, having ONE box would be nice, BUT with all that added stuff i cant imagine it being cheap.
 
I'm straight down the middle when it comes to Playstation and Xbox, but i have to say that was an awful, uninspiring reveal.

Absolutely no gameplay, full of stupid crap that I can do already on my PC or TV as they stand.

If they didn't want to reveal so much because E3 is round the corner they should have either had this conference earlier or waited until E3.
 
Just switching between all the gaming sites who are doing lives commentary and there are a load of unhappy people there.. IGN said "it's a TV box that will also play games", just about sums it up

They didn't even say that the hardware is inside the box.

We learned almost nothing in that whole presentation.

I'm still leaning towards PS4, because:

I expect it to be cheaper.
I expect it will do all the things I want it to (not interested in the least in using the console to watch TV).
I expect the exclusives will be more interesting.
I hope it isn't going to force Kinect/Move style controls on me like I'm sure XBox is going to (think Wii-mote here).
I still hope the hardware will be better.

The PS3 didn't overtake the 360 till December last year I think? It's dropped behind in sales again now apparently. Not that that should matter to anyone /shrug

Always online is fair enough but does it need to be online to play games? That's what we need to know.

This is why I said earlier that we need separate threads, people just can't help themselves.
