PST: Project Silicon Talisman

I bet nobody else will even notice to be honest, it's just you that will know they are there... it is a great case as well, so think you have made the right choice mate.

I'd spend all my time drooling over them pair of hof's rather than the lighting ;)

yes indeed. :D thanks mate

On my last PC I had the choice of spending a bit more for the Z97 Ranger or going with the MSI Gaming 3. I didn't pick the right one :(
I'm glad you went for the Ranger. Looks like a nice bit of kit :):D You've made the right choice :)

i am using 4790k on a MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ([email protected]). switching mobo to a better z97 can get me another 100-200mhz or 4.8ghz at lower volts. any of asus rog boards will look better with black pcb

I could have gone for hero actually but they are very identical other than few subtle differences. i was using 4790k on a MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ([email protected]). only switching in hope to get another 100-200mhz or 4.8ghz at lower volts hopefully + it looks better with black pcb

I've only had ASUS/MSI motherboards and I prefer ASUS by far. MSI boards seem to create their own errors or brick themselves when they update the bios. Also it is worth the cost for a black PCB :D

spent a lot of time flushing the radiators from the old loop (120mm/240mm). I was using Mayhems red dye. After dozens of gallons of water through, I can see pink water staining from radiators if hot water is left in them for a couple of minutes. I resorted to using some soap based washing fluids and they keep bringing more red out of it. Now is there a magic fluid that can clean them up. Else I will order new rads because I dont want my new coolant to be destroyed by it.

my flushing marathon. well wife is the least impressed person in the world at the moment.

^ awesome set-up lol

maybe worth asking in wc section? I haven't braved custom loops yet but someone else must have faced this problem before?

What radiators are you thinking of buying? Also nice workstation you got there :D

lol :D @ workstation.

still thinking about it mate. I have a new hardware labs 420mm. Only need to replace 120mm and 240mm; which were in the old loop. thinking that just buy a 240mm rad and drop the 120mm. I hope will be enough to keep everything cool in my loop.
